30fps removes most, but still tends to have frame pacing oddities. (1 wonders if that's why they avoided 60fps on consoles so long.)

The game's visuals fall into the same rough category as Cyber Sleuth. They look fine, and the overall style lets it punch above its weight in most categories, even if looking around at times makes the seams more obvious.

I would assume 'more' of a focus on Story honestly.
Even before Survive came out, they talked about the ongoing issues of people's interest lacking in World.

It feels like unless they come up with a solid polish to the gameplay, it equates to pushing a rock uphill when Story is sitting right next to it.

The Switch and PC ports of Next Order helping speed the game up a bit did seem to be a decent sized improvement though, so one would hope they're eyeballing ways to speed it up and increase the scale.

I still don't particularly think it's a good game but it feels like before that version...
Sentiment on the Vita version was a 3 or 4 out of 10, and the PS4 was maybe a 5.5. Switch/PC feels like people see it around 7 now.
Which is wild since as you said…
