Subject: Private chats in Telegram.
Alexander greetings.
It is declared that such chats can be opened only on the device from which they are started (nothing is stored on the server).
For the user, the most serious differences from a simple chat are:
1. Limit on the forward and screenshots - less likely that correspondence and photos will leak to third parties. The interlocutor is warned about trying to make a screenshot.
2. Secret chat is only available on one device. If someone will get access to your computer for example - he will not see your secret chat rooms - they are only in the phone.
3. You can configure the auto-delete timer for messages. For example 30 seconds after reverence.
4. Delete the chat from the person you are talking to. After you exit the chat, the chat person closes and disappears. Messages from this Hangout are no longer available.
5. There is no leakage of messages through push. Secret chat rooms do not deliver push notifications with text on the phone's screen. Just the fact that the message was. No text and the name of the person.
All this in combination significantly reduces the likelihood of reading the correspondence by third parties.
