We rarely hear about compensation from the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), but today we did. VICP awarded a $373,371.11 settlement tor the family of a man who died from Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) after receiving a seasonal influenza vaccine.

GBS is a serious autoimmune disorder in which the immune system attacks the peripheral nerves.
