Corona children studies "Co-Ki": First results of a Germany-wide registry on mouth and nose covering (mask) in children

Witten/Herdecke Uni online registry for parents, doctors, pedagogues etc to enter observations: On 20.10.2020, 363 doctors were asked to make entries and share with parents and others this registry for complaints in children and adolescents caused by wearing a mask.

By 26.10.2020 the registry had been used by 20,353 people. This study collates that data.

Avg time worn: 270 minutes per day
Impairments: 68% by parents incl:
irritability 60%
headache 53%
dizziness 26%
syncope 21%
nausea 17%

It is important to note Limitations of Results
Causation is difficult to determine, eg physiological vs pshycological
URL was found in some anti lockdown COVID groups raising validity concerns. And there are no controls.

Many did not report any adverse reactions.
Much effort needs to be put into investigation of adverse reportees.
