Tina Peters' bid for clemency will be announced this morning at 9am MT by the Colorado Court of Appeals.
Peters served as the Mesa County Clerk from 2019 to 2023. In 2024, she was given a 9-year sentence for charges related to tampering with the 2020 elections.
Colorado Gov. Jared Polis suggested last month that Peters should be given the opportunity for clemency. He even extended the deadline for her application.
If granted clemency, Tina Peters could have a significantly reduced sentence or even receive a full pardon.

On the morning of March 15, dozens of activists carried beagles out of Ridglan Farms, a dog breeding facility near Madison, Wisconsin. They rescued the dogs because they were being used for medical research.
Images of the break-in spread fast. But for many, the shock wasn't only about the incident itself.
It was that dogs are being used in medical research at all.
Public Investigator looked into why dogs, and specifically beagles, are still being used and bred for research in Wisconsin and elsewhere.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's most recent report, 42,880 dogs were used in research facilities in 2024.

We can protect the rich culture, including the arts and restaurant scenes in these communities, while also mutually strengthening our economies and avoiding spreading Texas’s failed leadership any further. Not to mention the fact that this will mean more Pueblo chiles for all. This isn’t like Trump trying to take over Greenland; it’s totally different and definitely legal. I am humbled on this Good Friday, and grateful for the courageous sacrifice Jesus made for mankind, laying down his life for us. I always wonder if we would have done the same for him? Humanity is a work in progress; we are sinners for ever more. God is the alpha and the omega. The all powerful. He created the heavens and the earth. He brought a flood upon the earth to cleanse it and start new. He is everything and everywhere. God knew what had to be done.
