Big 6-3 ruling from SCOTUS.

Under the Immigration and Nationality Act, an illegal immigrant “arrives in the United States” only when the person crosses the border into the United States, NOT when they arrive at the border wall. SCOTUS says the INA neither entitles an alien standing at the border in Mexico to apply for asylum nor requires an immigration officer to inspect him or let him into the country.

Pray for the people of Venezuela…

Last night, two powerful earthquakes struck western/northern Venezuela in quick succession.

A 7.2 magnitude foreshock near San Felipe, Yaracuy state.

40 seconds later, a 7.5 magnitude mainshock about 23 km (14 miles) southeast of Yumare.

These were the strongest quakes to hit Venezuela in over a century.

The shaking was widely felt across much of the country (especially Caracas and coastal areas like La Guaira) and into neighboring Colombia.

Depths were very shallow, amplifying the impact. A tsunami warning was issued but quickly canceled.

So far. there are 164 confirmed deaths & over 1,000 injuries. Many people remain trapped under rubble. The toll is expected to reach 10,000 deaths over the coming days/weeks.

The USGS model projects up to 100,000 potential deaths.

Several dozen buildings have already collapsed and there is damage to the main airport in Caracas.

Interestingly, Venezuela’s oil infrastructure appears largely unaffected in initial reports.

Between November 2025 and April 2026, researchers removed 177 Burmese python apex predators weighing a combined 8,080 pounds from a 200-square-mile area inside Collier County, approximately 90 miles west of Miami. That's FOUR TONS of snake!!
