Female death row inmate set to be executed TOMORROW reveals 'kinship' with Lindsay Clancy
A woman who is set to be executed on Wednesday for murder she committed when she was a teenager has compared herself to Lindsay Clancy.
Christa Pike was just 18 when she lured Colleen Slemmer, a fellow Job Corps student, to an isolated area of the University of Tennessee's campus and subjected her to a torturous attack that ended in a fatal bludgeoning on January 12, 1995.
Convicted the following year, Pike became the youngest woman sentenced to death in the US. She is also set to become the first woman executed in Tennessee in more than 200 years.
As she faces death, Pike said she feels a 'kinship' with Clancy, whose mental health took center stage when a Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial earlier this month.
The mother had faced a lifetime behind bars for killing her children Cora, five, Dawson, three, and eight-month-old Callan. Clancy did not deny she strangled the children, but argued she should be found not guilty by reason of insanity.
'We are both females who got into trouble because of uniquely female issues,' Pike told SWR.
'One thing [that] is different, however, is that times have changed a lot on awareness of women's issues since I was put on trial.'
She added that she is 'pleased' Clancy is 'getting the help she needs,' arguing: 'There are so any women who don't get the help they need: me and others.'
When she was then asked whether she believed jurors would have been more sympathetic to her case if she had been tried today, Pike replied that she believes she would be 'because science about brain development has evolved.'
She also said she believes she was punished harsher than she should have been because her accomplice in Slemmer's murder was black.
'While racism has not gone away, it has diminished some,' Pike said. 'I think I was more harshly judged because of my relationship with Tadaryl.'
Pike had become convinced that Slemmer was trying to steal her 17-year-old boyfriend, Tadaryl Shipp, a fellow Job Corps student with whom Pike shared an interest in satanic imagery. Friends of Slemmer denied any romantic rivalry.
Pike and another student, Shadolla Peterson, hatched a plan to lure Colleen away from the school, telling her they wanted to make peace and offering to share marijuana with her in a secluded area near the University of Tennessee campus.
Slemmer went with Pike, Shipp and Peterson that evening. Once they reached the woods, she was attacked.
For at least half an hour, prosecutors said, Slemmer was beaten, kicked and slashed as she begged them to stop and repeatedly tried to escape.
At some point during the assault, Shipp carved a pentagram into her chest while she was still alive.
Slemmer ultimately died from devastating blows to the head, administered by Pike with a chunk of asphalt.

What would you want to know if the diagnosis were yours?
Not six months later. Not after you’ve already made major treatment decisions.
Before.
TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT! 8pm ET MASTERCLASS.
Cancer treatment can be complicated.
Cancer type matters. Stage matters. Timing matters. The treatments you’ve already received matter. The medications you’re taking matter.
Strategy matters.
Would you want to know what researchers are discovering about repurposed drugs?
Would you want to understand why ivermectin is being investigated in cancer?
Would you want to know what Dr. William Makis is finding regarding tumor response, recurrence, pain and malignant effusions?
And if chemotherapy or radiation were already part of your treatment plan, wouldn’t you want to understand what is being investigated about combining conventional therapy with repurposed medications?
These are conversations I want people having before they are frightened and overwhelmed by a diagnosis.
Because knowing your options puts you in a stronger position to ask questions, seek guidance and make informed decisions for yourself or someone you love.
If you or a loved one are experiencing cancer, or afraid you might some day due to family history or getting the jabs, please sign up for our masterclass to know ALL your options, not just the ones mainstream medicine offers.
Register today for our Sept 30 8pm ET webinar.

What’s really floating around in the air inside your home? And what’s the story behind apricot seeds that has so many of you asking questions?
We hear from you constantly about both of these topics. Air purifiers. Indoor air quality. Apricot seeds. What should you know? What should you be looking for? And how do you sort through all the conflicting information?

Does your body need an oil change? Today's podcast guest, Udo Erasmus, says absolutely yes! In fact, that is the title of his book!
What if the seed oils you’ve been told to eliminate contain something your body actually needs to survive?
That is the contradiction at the center of my conversation with Udo Erasmus.
Omega-6 is an essential fatty acid. Your body cannot manufacture it. Yet seed oils have become nutritional enemy number one in some health circles.
Udo believes we are missing an important part of the story.
After severe pesticide poisoning in 1980, Udo turned to his background in biochemistry, genetics and biology and began studying nutrition for himself. Eventually, he found himself buried in the research on fats.
One study told him omega-6 was essential.
Another raised serious concerns about oils containing it.
Instead of choosing a side, Udo started asking what happened between the seed and the bottle.
That investigation led him into industrial oil processing and eventually to developing methods intended to protect sensitive oils from light, oxygen and heat.
In our conversation, Udo explains what he discovered about chemical processing, bleaching, deodorization, plastic packaging and the effect of putting vulnerable oils into a hot frying pan.

What is happening in Tennessee? Christa Pike is still alive, even after receiving two doses of pentobarbital. She was taken by ambulance from the prison to a hospital for treatment. Following the execution failure, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee halted all scheduled executions for the remainder of 2026 while they do “a comprehensive, third-party review to determine exactly what occurred.” Media at the execution said nothing was typical about the evening but the Tennessee Department of Corrections said it followed the correct protocol to the letter. The protocol does not allow for additional procedures beyond what was carried out last evening.
It will be interesting how this all plays out, but I wondered why she has been on death row for over 30 years. Pike committed murder in 1995 and was sentenced to death in 1996. There is an automatic appeals court review, but the Tennessee Supreme Court upheld the death penalty in 1998.
So what's been happening since then? Her case then proceeded through something called post-conviction and federal habeas litigation. Those proceedings can involve claims that weren't resolved during the original appeal. By the way, Pike tried to kill another inmate in 2001 and was convicted of attempted murder in 2004. She also planned a prison break in 2012, soliciting help from a male corrections officer and a male pen pal from New Jersey.
For 30 years, Pike and her lawyers have been milking the system. Claims that her trial counsel had been ineffective. Pike pursued federal habeas corpus review in federal court. This is a separate layer of review from the state of Tennessee. There were claims concerning Pike's age—she was 18 when the murder occurred. One judge expressed the view that executing someone for a crime committed at 18 was likely unconstitutional. WHY?
They took the case to SCOTUS which declined to review Pike's federal habeas case. There was litigation concerning her treatment on Tennessee's death row. There have been attempts to reopen aspects of her case. Only recently has Pike's history of childhood sexual abuse and rape been brought into the picture.
Finally in 2025 Tennessee eventually set an execution date for September 30, 2026. And here's where we are.
And I ask you, has your government ever given you, as a person who has NOT committed a murder, this kind of attention?

I received this message after our Cancer Masterclass with Dr. Makis, and I had to share it.
“I am a healthcare professional and have never been so embarrassed and disgusted to be a part of this community… It is comforting to know that warriors such as Dr. Tenpenny and Dr. Makis put on the full armor of God to win this fight to bring sanity back to healthcare.”
THIS is why these conversations matter.
Dr. Makis answered your questions directly, shared what he knows, and didn’t shy away from the difficult conversations happening in medicine.
And I especially loved that this person brought it back to faith.
We can learn. We can question. We can keep fighting for better. But ultimately, we know Who wins.
And apparently, many of you still want in.
So, by popular demand, we’re extending the $49 access through THIS Sunday at midnight.
After that, the Masterclass goes back to $149.
If you missed us live, here’s your chance to watch the entire conversation:

Yesterday, the Attorney General from the State of Florida sued Pfizer and CEO Albert Bourla personally under Florida’s Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act for deceptively marketing the COVID-19 mRNA injection as safe. They made billions in profit while pregnant women were miscarrying their babies and teenagers were having heart attacks. The lawsuit alleges Pfizer hid safety signals, misled millions about transmission, and used deceptive marketing to drive maximum COVID shot uptake.
The opening line of the complaint? “Those people are criminals.” That is how Bourla described people who publicly raised safety concerns about Pfizer’s COVID-19 injection.

Federal agents arrived at Tom Caldwell’s farm before sunrise and surrounded the property with armored vehicles and rifles. A retired naval intelligence officer stepped onto his lawn in handcuffs while laser sights crossed his wife’s chest. The arrest followed a trip to Washington where Caldwell and his wife Sharon spent January 6 near the Peace Monument photographing crowds and singing patriotic songs.
Digital records confirmed he never entered the Capitol building. Phone data, video footage, and photographs documented his location throughout the day. Prosecutors later described him as the mastermind of a national conspiracy.
Solitary confinement began inside a concrete cell where cold air ran continuously and medical prescriptions stopped immediately. Noise entered the room through hidden speakers. Guards forced Caldwell to the floor during beatings while he refused to confess to events that never occurred. A Bible request received silence from prison staff.
