HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Dr. Oz reportedly identified nearly 200,000 people enrolled in two taxpayer-funded healthcare programs. These people are either already dead or duplicate enrollees. Fraud, fraud, and more fraud.
Kennedy stated that the purge would save taxpayers $738 million in 2026 alone and that future savings would reach an annualized rate of $1.5 billion.
Some enrollees were deceased, meaning payments could go to insurers rather than Americans. The report blames the Biden administration for eliminating fraud safeguards and failing to cross-check enrollment records.
