🇷🇺🇸🇦🇧🇭🇴🇲 FM Sergey #Lavrov met with members of the Gulf Cooperation Council Troika on the sidelines of the #UNGA77.
The meeting was attended by FM of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, FM of the Kingdom of Bahrain Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani and Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the UN Mohamed Al-Hassan.
The discussion focused on the prospects for further enhancing Russia’s multifaceted cooperation with GCC countries, including the development of the political dialogue and stepping up trade and economic relations. The parties had a substantial exchange of opinions on current issues of the regional and international agenda.
Sergey Lavrov expressed his firm belief that the multipronged relations of the Russian Federation with GCC nations will continue developing successfully to the benefit of our nations and in the interest of forming a just, balanced and stable architecture of international relations in the Middle East and in the Gulf area.

🇷🇺🇧🇫 24 сентября «на полях» #ГАООН77 состоялась встреча Министра иностранных дел Российской Федерации С.В.Лаврова с Президентом переходного периода Буркина-Фасо П.-А.С.Дамибой.
🔹 В ходе состоявшейся беседы предметно обсуждены состояние и перспективы укрепления традиционно дружественных российско-буркинийских связей с акцентом на углубление политического диалога, наращивание сотрудничества в торгово-экономической и гуманитарной сферах.
🔹 Проведен обмен мнениями по актуальной международной и африканской проблематике. Стороны подтвердили обоюдный настрой Москвы и Уагадугу на дальнейшую координацию усилий на площадке ООН, а также в формате других многосторонних форумов.

💬 Хотел бы по «горячим следам» откомментировать некоторые высказывания, которые сегодня звучат из Вашингтона, Лондона, Брюсселя и других западных столиц, относительно референдумов, проводящихся в эти дни в ДНР, ЛНР и на освобожденных территориях Херсонской и Запорожской областей Украины.
Наблюдаемая нами истерика весьма показательна. Прямое волеизъявление граждан давно перестало быть формой установления контроля над той или иной территорией, которую Запад принимает и поддерживает.

То, что США рассматривают нынешнюю ситуацию вокруг Украины как «оселок», по которому будет измеряться их способность оставаться гегемоном, – для меня это очевидно.

Никогда не уходим от контактов. Всё обрушено и продолжает обрушаться именно Вашингтоном, Лондоном (всё более активно) и Брюсселем.

🇷🇺🇩🇿 Met with FM of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Ramtane Lamamra.
During their conversation the counterparts discussed top-priority objectives on further strengthening Russia-Algeria relations.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 Held a Meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.
The Ministers discussed bilateral issues in relation to the developing of arrangements leaders of two countries made on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Heads of State Council’s session as well as regional and international issues.

🌐 Today, with the emergence of sovereign states that are ready to stand up for their national interests, an equal, socially-minded and sustainable multipolar architecture is taking shape.
❌ However, Washington and the ruling elites in Western countries that have fully submitted themselves to this rule have been viewing these objective geopolitical processes as a threat to their dominance.
