📜November 16, 1933, is a significant page in the history of Russian-American relations established back in 1807.
🔹Eighty-nine years ago, People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs of the USSR Maxim Litvinov and U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt exchanged notes on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Soviet Union and the United States.
This was preceded by an appeal of Franklin Roosevelt in October of the same year to Mikhail Kalinin, the chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR. The American leader expressed his conviction that "relations between our peoples can forever remain normal and friendly, and from now on our countries can cooperate for mutual benefit and the preservation of world peace." The reply of M.Kalinin to F.Roosevelt read that "it is an extremely abnormal and deplorable situation in which, over the past sixteen years, the two great powers the United States of America and the USSR have experienced a shortage in conventional methods of communication and have been deprived of the advantages that it could bring".
☝️Before that, there had been no official ties between our countries for a decade and a half after Washington refused to recognize the Soviet government in 1917.
🔹As we can see, common sense and understanding of the importance of cooperation with the USSR prevailed in the minds of local elites at that time. The interest of the U.S. business community in our trade potential played a key role. The endurance of the foundation for cooperation was guaranteed by a shared position on countering Nazism in Germany, fascism in Italy and militarism in Japan.
🔹November 16, 1933, became the "starting point" in the history of official cooperation between the two great powers that was tested on many occasions later. There were both heyday and "brotherhood in arms" as well as lengthy periods of tension and confrontation. Moreover, as history shows, the climate in bilateral relations has always been reflected in the "political weather" around the world.
🔹After World War II, in which our states fought shoulder to shoulder against Nazis, we became the main guarantors of peace and global security. It was the USSR and the U.S. that played a decisive role in the establishment of the UN.
During the Cold War, the two countries managed to prevent a nuclear conflict at the dramatic moment of the Caribbean crisis, and then jointly laid the basis of strategic stability.
🔹One cannot fail to mention the transition from rivalry to partnership in space exploration. In July 1975, the Soyuz and Apollo spacecraft docked under the Soyuz-Apollo international space program, which became the first large-scale event within the framework of Soviet-American space cooperation.
🔹After the establishment of the Russian Federation, the leadership of our country did everything to build normal relations with the United States. However, instead of steps towards an equal and pragmatic cooperation, the Americans, imbued with the idea of their exclusivity, neglected our interests in every possible way and did not even conceal their plans to weaken Russia as much as possible.
❗️It is Washington's fault that relations between the two countries are stalled without prospects for stabilization in the foreseeable future. It is time for American political elites to realize that it is useless to speak the language of force with Russia. For our part, we have never closed the door to dialogue. We are ready to return to normal cooperation but only on an equal basis and with due consideration of our fundamental security concerns.

⚡️ Заявление МИД России о ложных обвинениях в причастности России к ракетному инциденту на территории Польши
В связи с падением 15 ноября 2022 года на территории Республики Польша недалеко от польско-украинской границы двух ракет Министерством обороны Российской Федерации без промедления были даны исчерпывающие разъяснения о непричастности Вооруженных Сил нашей страны к этому инциденту.
Несмотря на это, фиксируем возмутительную публичную реакцию на происшествие в целом ряде стран НАТО, средствах массовой информации, которые в унисон без желания разобраться в ситуации поспешили растиражировать абсолютно ложные, голословные утверждения о том, что виновником может быть Россия.
Проведены т.н. «консультации» западных структур, породившие новую волну бездоказательных обвинений, которые однако быстро пошли на спад. Усматриваем в этой вакханалии умышленные действия, предпринимаемые в рамках проводимой на Западе на системной основе антироссийской кампании вокруг Украины.
☝️ При этом обращает на себя особое внимание, с какой оперативностью обвинения в адрес России начали выдвигать представители киевского режима. Похоже, что власти в Киеве всячески используют любую возможность для обвинений России и попыток консолидации западной поддержки на фоне того, что режим Зеленского, похоже, утомил их покровителей. Тем более что предварительные данные об этом инциденте указывают на Украину.
❗️ Уверены, что беспристрастное расследование и обнародование его результатов разоблачат эту провокацию.

⚡️ Russian Foreign Ministry Statement on false accusations of Russia's involvement in the missile incident in Poland.
In connection with two missiles landing in the territory of the Republic of Poland on November 15, 2022 near the Polish-Ukrainian border, the Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation immediately provided comprehensive clarification on Russia’s armed forces not being involved in this incident.
Despite this, we have noted an outrageous public reaction to the incident in a number of NATO countries and the media which, without looking into the situation, scrambled as one to spread absolutely fake and unfounded allegations about Russia potentially being responsible. The Western organisations held “consultations” which gave rise to a new wave of unsubstantiated accusations, which, however, quickly subsided.
We see this mayhem as a deliberate effort made as part of a systematic anti-Russia campaign conducted by the West around Ukraine. At the same time, the speed with which accusations against Russia were made by the Kiev regime is notable.
Kiev seems to take every opportunity to blame Russia and to try to consolidate Western support as the Zelensky regime appears to have tired its patrons. In addition, the preliminary data about this incident point to Ukraine.
❗️ We are confident that an impartial investigation and publication of the results will expose the facts of this provocation.

По итогам саммита «большой двадцатки» в Индонезии принята Балийская декларация лидеров «Группы двадцати».
🔸 В духе девиза председательства Индонезии в «Группе двадцати» «Восстановимся вместе, восстановимся сильнее» мы будем осуществлять скоординированные действия по продвижению повестки сильного, всеохватного и стабильного глобального восстановления, а также устойчивого развития, стимулирующего создание рабочих мест и экономический рост.
🔸 Обязуемся предпринять срочные действия для спасения жизней, предотвращения голода и недоедания, в особенности обратить внимание на уязвимости развивающихся стран, и призываем ускорить процесс перехода на устойчивые и крепкие сельскохозяйственные и продовольственные системы и цепочки поставок.
🔸 Вновь выражаем нашу поддержку открытой, прозрачной, инклюзивной, предсказуемой и недискриминационной сельскохозяйственной торговле, основанной на правилах ВТО.

Following the G20 summit in Indonesia, the G20 Bali Leaders' Declaration was adopted.
🔸 In line with the Indonesian G20 Presidency theme
— Recover Together, Recover Stronger — we will take coordinated actions to advance an agenda for a strong, inclusive and resilient global recovery and sustainable development that
delivers jobs and growth.
🔸 We commit to taking urgent actions to save lives, prevent hunger and malnutrition, particularly to address the vulnerabilities of developing countries, and call for an accelerated transformation towards sustainable and resilient agriculture and food systems and supply chains.
🔸 We reiterate our support for open, transparent, inclusive, predictable, and non-discriminatory, rules-based agricultural trade based on WTO rules.
🔸 We welcome the Türkiye and UN-brokered two Istanbul Agreements signed on 22 July 2022. We emphasize the importance of their full, timely and continued implementation by all relevant stakeholders.

🎦 Под председательством Президента России В.В.Путина в режиме видеосвязи состоялось заседание Российского организационного комитета «Победа» (15 ноября 2022 года).
💬 В.В.Путин: Искажение истории, насаждение мифов, размывание ценностей – во многом именно с этого, с этих мифов и начинается раскачка государств и народов.
Такой сценарий, как мы видим, был уже обкатан на некоторых странах, в том числе и на Украине, да и в ряде других государств. Были попытки поступить также с с Россией, но мы вовремя и достаточно твёрдо поставили им заслон.
Много предпринимается попыток фальсифицировать историю. Делается это, конечно, для того, чтобы
👉 создать соответствующую атмосферу в текущей политике и выстроить эти ложные посылы,
👉 распределить соответствующим образом интересы на будущее,
👉 прикрыть то, что делалось совместно с нацистами, скрыть своё участие в этих преступлениях,
👉 создать предпосылки для новых агрессивных действий, в том числе и в отношении нашей страны.
❗️ Не меньшая задача и у тех, кто сотрудничал с нацистами из-за страха, из-за трусости: прикрыть это предательство интересов своих народов псевдонационалистическими интересами – это очень характерно и для сегодняшних деятелей с той же Украины. Очень хорошо ложатся все эти события в рамках бандеровского процесса.
Никто не хочет считать себя трусом, никто не хочет, чтобы о нём думали как о трусе. А вот прикрыть своё предательство, сотрудничество с нацистами, псевдонациональными интересами – это очень хорошее прикрытие для поведения подобного рода, для прикрытия своего предательства. В этом, мне кажется, в значительной степени и истоки бандеровского процесса.
Важно вскрыть все эти попытки, показать правду – хорошую, плохую, но объективную информацию. И самим в этом ещё раз убедиться и разобраться, и оставить эту правду для будущих поколений.

💬 President Putin: Distortion of history, imposition of myths and the undermining of values – it is often with these myths that destabilising states and nations begins.
As we can see, a similar scenario has been tested in some other countries, including Ukraine. There have been attempts to target Russia as well but, as I have said before, we took resolute and timely measures to protect our interests and stave off similar sabotage.
There are many attempts to falsify history. Of course, this is done
👉 to create a certain atmosphere in today’s politics and to build these false messages;
👉 to distribute interests for the future in the needed way;
👉 to cover up not only what was done jointly with the Nazis in order to hide their participation in these crimes;
👉 to create conditions for new aggressive actions, including those against our country.
❗️Those who collaborated with the Nazis out of fear, out of cowardice also have an ambitious task: to cover up this betrayal of the interests of their peoples with pseudo-nationalist interests – this is typical of today's people from that same Ukraine. All these events fit very well within the #BanderaProcess.
Nobody wants to consider themselves a coward, nobody wants to be thought of as a coward. But to cover up their betrayal – cooperation with the Nazis for pseudo-national interests – this is a very good cover for such behaviour, for covering up their betrayal. I think the origins of the Bandera process are mainly based on this.
It is certainly important to bring these attempts to light, to expose the truth, which may be good or bad, but most importantly objective. And, once again, see it for ourselves and make sure we have it sorted out completely, and leave this truth for future generations.

В порядке ответных мер на постоянно расширяемые Администрацией Дж.Байдена персональные санкции против граждан России, в отношении очередной группы лиц из числа членов Конгресса США, высокопоставленных чиновников, представителей делового и экспертного сообществ, а также деятелей культуры (25 чел.), вводится запрет на въезд в Российскую Федерацию на постоянной основе.
👉 Поименный перечень американских граждан, вносимых в российский «стоп-лист», исходя из принципа взаимности.
❗️ Враждебные действия американских властей, которые продолжают следовать русофобским курсом, разрушая двусторонние связи и нагнетая конфронтацию между Россией и США, будут и далее получать решительный отпор.

❗️ В ответ на постоянно вводимые Администрацией Дж.Байдена все новые персональные санкции не только против российских официальных лиц, представителей деловых кругов и общественности, деятелей культуры, но и тех, кто по тем или иным причинам неугоден Вашингтону, на основе взаимности вводится запрет на въезд в Российскую Федерацию в отношении 200 граждан США.
❌ В их числе – отдельные представители органов власти и законодатели, а также их близкие родственники, руководители компаний и предприятий ВПК, эксперты и лоббисты, вовлеченные в раскрутку русофобской кампании и поддержку режима в Киеве.
Пофамильный перечень «списка-200», фигуранты которого вносятся в российский «стоп-лист» на постоянной основе.
Полный список граждан США, находящихся под персональными санкциями, включая запрет на въезд в Российскую Федерацию.

❗️ In response to the personal sanctions that the Biden administration constantly imposes on Russian officials, representatives of the business community and the public at large, cultural figures and those whom Washington dislikes for various reasons, it has been decided to ban the entry of 200 US citizens into the Russian Federation on a reciprocal basis.
❌ The list includes certain government officials and lawmakers, as well as their family members, heads of defence industry companies and enterprises, experts and lobbyists involved in ratcheting up the anti-Russia campaign and supporting the regime in Kiev.
Below is a list of 200 persons who shall be included in the Russian stop-list on a permanent basis.

⚡️ О «черноморской инициативе» по вывозу украинского продовольствия
18 ноября истекает срок действия четырехсторонней «сделки» (Россия-Турция-Украина-ООН), подписанной в Стамбуле 22 июля. Текст документа предусматривает его автоматическое продление на очередные 120 дней при отсутствии возражений какой-либо из сторон.
Таких возражений не поступило.
Российская сторона также допускает техническую пролонгацию «черноморской инициативы» без каких-либо изменений по срокам и охвату.
❗️ В Москве чётко и откровенно подчеркивали и продолжают подчёркивать взаимоувязанный «пакетный» характер договоренностей по украинскому продовольствию и эффективному выполнению российско-ооновского Меморандума по нормализации отечественного сельхозэкспорта.
Мы приняли к сведению активизацию работы Секретариата ООН по выполнению взятых им на себя обязательств в этой связи и предоставленную нам информацию о промежуточных результатах его работы по снятию препятствий на поставки российских удобрений и продовольствия. Все эти вопросы должны быть решены в ходе 120 дней, на которые продлевается «пакетная сделка».
Отмечаем, что после наших многократных напоминаний стали предприниматься усилия по разблокированию задержанных в портах ЕС около 300 тысяч тонн российских удобрений, которые Россия безвозмездно передает нуждающимся развивающимся странам. Дальнейшее затягивание в осуществлении этих остро необходимых им поставок недопустимо.
⚠️ Должно быть также абсолютно ясно, что любые попытки использовать гуманитарный коридор в Черном море в провокационных военных целях будут решительно пресекаться.
Исходим из того, что российские соображения и озабоченности в предстоящий период будут в полной мере учтены, что позволит обеспечить слаженную работу без перекосов и должную отдачу от полной реализации обеих Стамбульских договоренностей в интересах глобальной продовольственной безопасности.

⚡️ Press release on the Black Sea initiative for the export of Ukrainian food
The four-party deal by Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Nations, signed in Istanbul on July 22, will expire on November 18. The text of the document provides for its automatic extension for another 120 days in the absence of objections from any of the parties.
No such objections have been received.
The Russian side also allows for the technical extension of the Black Sea initiative without any changes in its terms or scope. Moscow has clearly and openly emphasised that the agreements on Ukrainian food and the effective implementation of the Russian-UN Memorandum on the normalisation of Russian agricultural exports is a package deal, and that remains unchanged.
We took note of the intensification of the UN Secretariat’s effort to fulfil its obligations in this regard and the information provided to us on the intermediate results of its work to remove obstacles to Russian fertiliser and food exports. All these issues must be resolved within 120 days, the period for which the package deal is to be extended.
We note that, after our repeated reminders, efforts have begun to be made towards unblocking the nearly 300,000 tonnes of Russian fertilisers detained in EU ports, which Russia is donating to developing countries in need. Further delay of these urgently needed shipments is unacceptable.
⚠️ It should also be absolutely clear that any attempt to use the humanitarian corridor in the Black Sea for military provocations will receive a harsh response.
We believe that Russia’s considerations and concerns will be fully taken into account in the coming period, which will ensure well-coordinated work without any imbalances and the due result achieved from the full implementation of both Istanbul agreements in the interests of global food security.

⚡️ Foreign Ministry Statement on the District Court of The Hague’s verdict on the MH17 criminal case
On November 17, the District Court of The Hague delivered a verdict to two Russian nationals, Igor Girkin and Sergey Dubinsky, and Ukrainian citizen Leonid Kharchenko, ruling that they were guilty of complicity in the crash of Malaysia Airlines MH17 in eastern Ukraine on July 17, 2014. The defendants were given life sentences. A fourth defendant, Russian citizen Oleg Pulatov, was declared not guilty.

❗️ Both the proceedings and the outcome of the trial prove that the process was based on a political order to prop up the version of Russia’s responsibility for the tragedy.

Throughout the entire proceedings the court had been under unprecedented pressure from Dutch politicians, the Prosecutor’s Office and the media who were all trying to impose a politically motivated result on the hearings. It is also obvious that the Netherlands could not afford any verdict other than guilty at the national level since they had launched concurrent proceedings on the MH17 case in other platforms, and a ‘not guilty’ verdict would collapse the narrative of the collective platforms, including international jurisdictions. Objectivity and impartiality under these conditions were out of the question.
When determining the verdict, the court decided to ignore the fact that the conclusions of the Dutch prosecutors were based on evidence from anonymous witnesses whose identities had been classified, as well as questionable information and materials provided by an interested party – the Security Service of Ukraine, which had been repeatedly caught giving false and contradictory information.
☝️ In addition, the defence’s argument that there was no compelling evidence that MH17 was shot down by a Russian missile was ignored. Only the materials that supported the Hague-promoted version were analysed, while the documents, declassified by the Russian Defence Ministry, on transferring the missile to Ukraine, whose serial number was identified on the wreckage at the crash site, were brushed aside.

🛰 Images from US satellites taken on the day of the crash could have provided some clarity. However, Washington resolutely refused the judges’ requests to reveal the records or at least to let them look at them under special conditions.
It is still unclear what the most ardent accusers of Russia are concealing. The fact that this has never worried the judges is cause for sincere astonishment.

These court hearings in the Netherlands have every chance of becoming one of the most scandalous in justice history with its long list of irregularities, discrepancies and questionable arguments from prosecutors, which became the basis for the verdict.

🔹Обратили внимание на тенденциозные оценки представителей администрации касательно готовности российской стороны допустить техническую пролонгацию «черноморской инициативы».
❗️В корне не согласны с тезисом о том, что данное решение якобы принято под внешним давлением. Даже в условиях введенных против нашей страны нелегитимных санкций Россия остается надежным поставщиком сельхозпродукции на мировые рынки.
☝️Будучи ответственной стороной стамбульских соглашений, продолжаем рассчитывать на их неукоснительное выполнение всеми участниками, в том числе в плане устранения ограничений для росагроэкспорта.
🔹Исходим из того, что полученные от западных партнеров и ООН заверения обеспечат нормализацию деятельности наших агрокомпаний не только «на бумаге», но и «на деле». От этого выиграли бы, в первую очередь, нуждающиеся государства, в интересах которых и разрабатывалась «зерновая сделка».

🔹We took note of the biased assessments by the U.S. Administration officials of the readiness of the Russian side to allow the technical extension of the Вlack Sea initiative.
❗️We fundamentally reject the thesis that this decision is due to external pressure. Even under illegitimate sanctions, imposed against our country, Russia remains a reliable supplier of agricultural products to the global markets.
☝️As a responsible party to the Istanbul Agreements, we expect their strict implementation by all participants - inclusive of the terms regarding the removal of trade barriers for Russian agricultural exports.
🔹We proceed from the fact that assurances by our Western partners and the U.N. will normalize the activities by our agricultural companies not only “on paper", but also “in practice”. This would benefit, first of all, the countries in need, in whose interests the “grain deal" was struck in the first place.
