In April 2022, President Putin and Zelensky agreed to a deal. It was a wonderful deal. All Putin wanted was for NATO countries to live up to their commitments and not drag Ukraine into NATO, which is his legal demand.
He would have withdrawn his troops after the deal went into effect, but Biden sent Boris Johnson in and forced Zelensky to tear up the treaty.
Since then, 600,000 Ukrainians have died for a reason that no one should have died for, and we are now on the brink of a nuclear exchange like we have never been on since 1962.
