I have no firsthand knowledge but I lived there when drug lords blew up judges and politicians and were snug in their business. So this is major. And this is especially a Q-ish moment if usual US officials were caught flatfooted. How could it gave occurred then? I keep saying— why are we not seeing illegals in every little town? If cartels coming across where is the mayhem? (I grant some but we are talking numbers here. Are ERs being swamped with gang fights etc?). And as James Grundvig asks— where are the Army Reservists that were sent “overseas”? Where are the Federal Marshalls deputized just before Biden sworn in? Just thinking out loud…

⚡️🇺🇸 Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (JBSA) in the U.S State of Texas; an unknown number of suspects, driving in one vehicle (sedan/car) opened fire on security forces on the base, who then returned fire.
This situation took place at the JBSA-Chapman Training Annex security gate, an area used for security force training & conditioning, with the vehicle having approached the gate, did not attempt to breach, shot at security, then fled away from JBSA when receiving return fire.
The suspect(s) fled the scene, base did NOT go into lockdown, but access has been temporarily closed while authorities search for the suspect/s and investigate the shooting.
