How can this be true? If the speed of light is a constant— which may be a lie— but if what they taught usvis true then there should only be an 8 min lag for the magnetic waves to hit earth. If we can “see” the flare then it is mediated by photons. So what is really happening? Are these made up events to cover for manmade electromagnetic disruptions/ aberrations? And if you can only see the aurora through cell phone photography then it is not in the human visible spectrum and NOT an aurora borrealis. This is just my thoughts using my eighth grade science.
