Apple users out there can see the little funny video. In the meantime we are reduced to me telling the story with words, not pictures and you can ask why the story was censored. The short video shows a guy in a training room with four human targets. He has a loaded handgun which he pulls out of his coat or pocket and blasts all the four targets in seconds. The caption reads: "Sir we're with the HOA here to remind you it's time to mow your lawn." So in the replies below tell me why you think it was censored. Then I'll tell you the punchline.

To begin with, I wanted to post that little meme because my city friends being oppressed by an HOA, and I thought they would get a kick out of this. I wasn't making any other political commentary although clearly there are some to make--especially about AOAs as Jer points out. But as to the reason: It isn't gun violence, because we see lots of shooting real life stuff on Apple Telegram. Also, I downloaded the app for my phone from the Telegram site directly, but it doesn't work for this video. Nor other videos from same source. The common denominator seems to be that the video was originally from a Russian Channel. I think it is an old KGB training film, and Someone else put a caption on it. But apparently the video origin is still coming through and alerting censors at ?Apple? From my first move to Telegram--when Parlor taken down--I read RT in English. Then I got the same message that "This message cannot be displayed on your device because"... the site violated. blah blah blah... So then I went to the RT Russian site. Just when I was getting better vocabulary, 6 mo later same thing happened. Then I found Secret Sonata (may be Russian host but in English) for other reasons and thought it shared interesting intel type posts, so I read that until after 4 or 5 months, that too was taken away. Then I had an idea. I went across the street to my neighbor, and asked him to open up Telegram on his phone. He--having no relation to me, but in the same exact area, astone's throw away--could read all the sites prohibited to me. So let that sink in. This is not like big brother who blasts the same crap message to all the little people. this censorship on a very individualized basis. Which then brings up the issue: If we are selectively being denied information, are we selectively being fed information? Are we being given our own bubble reality by AI?

…And to read and watch what you want to without using force against others. It is a sad commentray that I am buying books not always to read now, but to give to my children when those books will be the only access to the truth.
