Around 3:45 pm Saturday, Castleton Fire was dispatched to a partial building collapse at 5 Mann Dr.
The hill behind the home along with the end of the road, and the corner of the house had sank 3-4 feet into the ground.
The village building inspector was called to ๏ฟผdetermine the safety of the home, and scene was turned over to him.
Units cleared just before 5 pm. Please avoid the area as DPW conned off some of the street.

The Ocala Wetland Recharge Park has been temporarily closed by city officials again due to several sinkholes opening at the property, marking a problem that has plagued the facility at least a half a dozen times since it first opened in 2020.
The city reported the closure due to sinkholes and subsidences on Friday evening.
โThe Ocala Wetland Recharge Park is temporarily closed due to multiple areas of ground subsidence and sink holes. The park will remain closed until a full assessment is completed and it is safe to reopen,โ reads a statement from the city.
