I suspect there are a ton of deported people who are defaulting on their car loans.

If you knew you are getting deported and you have no equity in the car (most cars are underwater on the loan), you would stop making payments. Maybe even have family bring it over the border.

Even if you see weak data in jobs or default rates, remember that over 2 million have been removed from the country and that is increasing every day. We will see this in the economic data for years to come.

Overall it is a net positive. The economic data won't show it, but all of the other positives associated with removing millions of illegal aliens and fake refugees (losing their status) is a huge long term positive for the USA.
