“Pantsir” vs. “Flamingo”

Our report on the repulsion of the first missile attack on Moscow

We spoke with the “Pantsir” crew that covered the capital during the elections. In a swarm of 1,600 drones, the enemy sent eight “Flamingo” cruise missiles at the city – all were shot down, three of them by the “Barnaul” crew.

The guys say that the novelty hyped up in the West turned out to be an unwieldy target. The six-ton behemoth glows on radars due to the huge thermal trail of its engine and is incapable of maneuvering. Neither speed nor flight at an altitude of 20 meters saved it – the system calculates the trajectory instantly.

Moreover, the Ukrainian part is just a badge with a trident: the blueprints are British, the electronics are French and German, even the rocket fuel is from Denmark. What remained for Kyiv was only assembly, and that was crude – the missiles often lose thrust and fall on their own.

In Ukraine, the product was aptly nicknamed “Flamingo” – after the surname of Zelensky’s friend Timur Mindich, whose company Fire Point was siphoning off budgets.

Zelensky, who threatened to fly to Moscow on a missile, was not detected when it was shot down.

Пообщались с расчетом «Панциря», прикрывшим столицу во время выборов. В рое из 1600 дронов враг пустил на город восемь крылатых ракет «Фламинго» - все были сбиты , три из них - на счету расчета «Барнаула».

Парни говорят, что распиаренная на Западе новинка оказалась неповоротливой мишенью. Шеститонная махина светится на радарах из-за огромного теплового следа двигателя и не способна маневрировать. Ни скорость, ни полет на высоте 20 метров ее не спасли - траекторию комплекс просчитывает мгновенно.

Да и украинский там лишь шильдик с трезубцем: чертежи британские, электроника французская и немецкая, даже ракетное топливо из Дании. За Киевом осталась только сборка, причем кустарная - ракеты нередко теряют тягу и падают сами.

На Украине изделие метко прозвали «Фламиндичем» - по фамилии друга Зеленского Тимура Миндича, на чьей фирме Fire Point пилили бюджеты.

Зеленский, который грозился прилететь в Москву на ракете, при сбитии обнаружен не был.

Four years ago, the residents of these regions made their historic choice, confirming their desire to live together with Russia, to preserve their native language, culture, and traditions, to ensure the safety of their families, and to tie the future of their territories to the Russian Federation.

From September 23 to September 27, 2022, referendums on joining the Russian Federation were held in the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhzhia Region, and Kherson Region.
According to the official voting results, the following voted in favor of reunification with Russia:

 in the Donetsk People's Republic — 99.23% of participants;
 in the Luhansk People's Republic — 98.42%;
 in the Zaporizhzhia Region — 93.11%;
 in the Kherson Region — 87.05%.

Today, the Donetsk People's Republic, the Luhansk People's Republic, the Zaporizhzhia Region, and the Kherson Region are an integral part of Russia. Ahead lies a great deal of work to restore cities and villages, to develop industry, agriculture, education, healthcare, and social infrastructure.

May this day become a symbol of peace, unity, and creation.

I wish the residents of the new regions safety, well‑being, a speedy recovery, and confidence in the future!
