POTUS landed at the Ellipse on Marine One at 7:57 pm. He walked to the motorcade and promptly departed for the White House.
He was not alone on M1 but it wasn't immediately clear who the gentleman was who was seated across from with him. (As captured by the photographers through the window of the aircraft.) Pool has asked for a manifest.
A support copter landed much closer to the press on the Ellipse at 7:52 pm. Walt Nauta and Natalie Harp were among the group that was seen walking off that helo.

VP Travel Report #1 - Greensboro, North Carolina - Wheels up
The Vice President is traveling today to Greensboro, North Carolina, to headline a midterm campaign rally. The VP took a few questions on the tarmac before boarding Air Force 2. We will be wheels up shortly.
Q - CNN, MS Now, and Politico are now suing over the ban. Do you think it's appropriate for the president to be banning media outlets just because he doesn't like what they report?
Well, I take some issue with the premise. So he's not banning media outlets. What he's doing is saying we're not going to give you special access to the White House if you engage in what is effectively propaganda. We have to remember those three outlets account about 92 percent of the stories that they have on the President of the United States on the administration are negative. That's not representative of the American people. It's not representative of public opinion. So if you're going to engage in what is effectively far left propaganda. Why would a Republican White House give you special access?
Q - But sir you’ve talked a lot about free speech over the years. How is this not an attack on free speech?
Well, they can still report on the Trump White House. They can still get the public reports. They can still, of course, talk to people in the administration and outside the administration. What the president has said is, we're not going to give you special access inside the White House. The way that I think about it is, if you go back to the Biden administration or the Obama administration, compare, let's say, Politico to Breitbart. If you actually look at the objective analysis, Politico and Breitbart are Politico is as anti-Trump as Breitbart was anti-Obama or anti-Biden. Now, why on God's green earth would Donald Trump be expected to give Politico special access when nobody in the media expected the Biden administration or the Obama administration to give Breitbart special access. It's about basic fairness. They can still report. They still have the access to free speech. They're just not going to get an office in the White House anymore.
Q - Are you optimistic of these talks in Ukraine or in Iran this week at the UN? Are there any signs of any hope for any kind of deal?
Well, look, I'm always optimistic that we're going to make progress. I think, as the president has said, the Russia-Ukraine war has been by by far the toughest of the international conflicts to solve. I believe he's meeting with President Zelensky either tomorrow or the day after. So I'm sure there's going to be some good progress made. But look, this thing has been tough to solve, no doubt about it. But I'd rather work for a president who has energetically tried to solve the problem. We're going to keep on trying to solve it. Do I think it'll get solved eventually? Yes. It's just a question of time.
Q - Gas prices are really high right now. How much longer should Americans be expected to pay these high prices?
Well, look, we're very cognizant of the fact that because the Iranians are terrorizing international shipping, energy prices are elevated. We're doing everything that we can to one try to scan down on those prices, but give the American people some relief in the interim. One of the things the president has talked about is encouraging some of the states to give Americans relief from the gas taxes. I think we all have to accept that so long as the Iranians are trying to terrorize international shipping, we of course are going to try to push back against that.

Air Force Two was wheels down in Greensboro at 11:26am after being wheels up from Joint Base Andrews at 10:44am.
The motorcade started rolling at 11:45am and after a quick, uneventful ride it arrived at the Koury Convention Center at 11:58am. There were about a dozen protesters outside of the venue and your poolers could hear booing as we entered the venue.
Vance took the stage at 12:54pm and spoke for about half an hour. The Vice President spent much of his speech attacking Democrat Roy Cooper, who is running against Republican US Senate candidate Michael Whatley. Whatley was in attendance at the rally.
The Vice President accused Cooper of being someone who “bends the knee to the far left.” At one point, the Vice President said “fart left” and then said he misspoke.
“This November is not like the elections that most of us grew up with. You know, where the debates were about taxation or how much we should regulate this or that. This midterm election is between people who believe this country should have a future and those who would rather see it destroyed and rebuilt from the ground up,” Vance said.
Vance said, “If you want the Democrats to return to common sense, we've got to kick out the crazy. If you want the Democrats to hear your voice, and if they want your vote, they've got to stop nominating far left radicals. You've got to vote for Republicans if you want to tell the Democrats it's time to stop the madness and stop the craziness. You've got to vote for Republicans.“
Motorcade was rolling again at 1:27pm to the airport.

...quotes from POTUS/ Mamdani
On banning News Outlets from the White House & Press Access:
"If they're fake news, I really think I have an obligation not to allow them into another very special house. This is a special house, Gracie Mansion. Well, the White House is the most special of all houses, I have to say, and I don't even think the mayor would argue with that, and I think I have an obligation not to let fake news. They're very bad for the country, very bad for national security. So I have that obligation. So we'll see how it works out."
On media boycotts:
"It's interesting because they said they were going to boycott me, but they never boycott me, so I wasn't very worried about that. Look at all that press, but no, I'm not. I'm only doing it because I think the press also has an obligation, and you know I won in a landslide. I won the election in a landslide. I've done great things. I've done a lot of great things. I've settled eight wars..."

President Trump should use today’s address to the United Nations to make clear what America expects from the rest of the world and how we (America) intend to help secure peace in both Europe and in the Middle East.
He must clearly define the objectives.
Explain what must happen for the fighting to stop.
Tell our allies, partners and friends what they must contribute and,
Tell our adversaries what terms they must meet.
American strength must serve an achievable outcome. Every military commitment carries a cost paid by our troops, their families, and the American people. The American people deserve honest answers about what we are asking the American people to sacrifice and why.
We cannot keep handing the next generation endless wars we never define how to end.
It is time to inject peace into these wars.
