M1 was wheels up at 5:07pm.

POTUS said he is heading to Ohio to campaign for some “great people.”

He said he won Ohio three times and had the highest vote. I hope you enjoy it.

Any closer to big decision on Iran: “Iran has been decimated…we will make a decision” and suggested it could be the “hard way.”

When asked by Akayla Gardner of MS Now if he had any regrets in his presidency, POTUS said, “It’s been the most productive two years, they say in the history of the presidency. I think it’s the most consequential two years of anybody….if you the at the record.”

When asked if the cost of living is the Republican Party’s biggest weakness he said he inherited high costs and that costs have been lower than Biden.

He talked about Tom Cotton and daylight savings time for a bit. He said it’s very expensive to do and not a good thing. “It’s a lot of work for people,” he said.

here are the fuller quotes from the less than 5-minute gaggle with the press:

On Ohio visit:

“We have a tremendous crowd of people. I won Ohio three times. He got the highest vote in the history of the state. I like it very much. I love the people of Ohio, and we're going to spend a little time. And I hope you enjoy it.”

On any regrets in his first two years:

“No, I love it. I think it's been a great. I think it's the most productive two years. They say anybody of anybody in the history of the presidency, I think it's the most consequential two years of anybody in the presidency, and I only base that on the record. If you look at the record, if you look at what we've done, I think it's the most consequential presidency so far, and we're going to try and keep it that way.”

On Iran war:

“We have a decision that I'll make about Iran. Iran's been decimated, so the only question is, it'll either be the easy way or the hard way. We'll have it the easy way or the hard way.”

On whether cost of living is weakness for GOP:

“Yeah, I inherited high cost from from the Democrats or the Democrats as I go because their policy is so bad. But we inherited a lot, and we've gotten the prices down. Oil is coming down. Oil is right now lower, and it's been lower than it was under the Biden administration, and they did nothing about the fact that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. By the way, Iran, as you know, is virtually giving up any plans of a nuclear weapon.”

On Senator Tom Cotton and Daylight Savings Time:

“We want to get away from this ridiculous way and custom of every twice a year turning your clocks back, turning your clocks forward, being late for dinner, being late for very important meetings. It's ridiculous, and if you look at the public, they agree that's a 100% issue. 65% I'll give you an example. Right now we're sitting out here. It's light. It's nice. If you come down here in in another three weeks, it'll be dark. It'll be who wants it? We want our sunlight in the afternoon. But more importantly than that, we don't want to change clocks twice a year. It's very expensive. It's got many problems, even crime. As crazy as it sounds, when you have light, you have you have much less crime. So the House voted it more than 80 percent. It's been sitting up there, and hopefully we can get Tom Cotton to move.”

“Tom Cotton is holding it. He shouldn't be holding it. It's an issue that people want. We had it a long time ago, but they used it for other purposes to get something else approved, and they gave it up. But people want to have light in the evening. But really, what they want more than that, more than that by a lot, they don't want to have to go around changing clocks. I have the same thing. Last time, six months ago, we're changing clocks, and nobody changes clocks, and everybody's late. It takes people. It discombobulates everybody, and so we can finally have a vote. We have the vote in the house. Mike Johnson did a great job. Now we'd like to have the vote in the Senate. Tom Cotton is holding it up. You don't want it. The farmers want it. You don't want it. Sports want it. Professional sports and amateurs that would like to play tennis at night would like to play golf a little bit without having to run home after 14 holes-it's ridiculous. It's very expensive to do. It's not a good thing. People don't want to have to change their clocks twice a year. It's a lot of work for a lot of people. They're running around for two days changing all the clocks in their house. So it's an easy win, and I'm not even talking about for the Republican Senate, for the Senate, because it's a very bipartisan issue. And Senator Tom Cotton of Arkansas, a state that I won by 35 or 40 points, I know by a lot. He's got to do it because it's it's really it would be a very nice win. win for the United States Senate and for the people. Have a good time, everybody.”

POTUS took the stage at 7:45 pm to a standing ovation. He ended at 9:17 pm with the “YMCA” dance.

Some highlights for you to check against transcripts:

- The president again asked people to pretend he is on the ballot: “I’m really in to win it. We want to win the midterm … If you don’t mind please pretend that I’m on the ballot.”

- People stood up and cheered when he offered $5000 checks if Republicans keep control of Congress. Near the end of the rally he brought it up again, and several people clapped and jumped up and down.

- A protester was escorted out shortly after the president began talking.

- There was thunderous applause for a Voter ID measure on the Ohio ballot; for POTUS saying that zero undocumented immigrants have been admitted across the border; and for his support for barring transgender people from women’s sports.

- John Husted got applause when the president highlighted his attempts to get legislation passed that the president said would stop data centers from driving up utility costs.

- People began streaming out from an upper deck and seats along the side of the auditorium once the speech hit the 45-minute mark. Around that point, the president read the poem The Snake and dedicated it to the town of Springfield Ohio

- He pondered the future: “I’ll try a couple of years of being nonconsequential if you don’t mind. This is a dangerous position.”

- “I had a simple life before this. He said that he didn’t have to be here on a Saturday night“working my ass off.” “I could’ve been in Monte Carlo!” At that, the president received a standing ovation and a “four more years” chat. He said he’d “like to do that” but then complained that the news media would report that he wanted to run again.

- He disparaged polls showing dimming prospects for Republicans as fake, and said the polls have not taken into account the fact that he is now campaigning. “It’s their fault because they’ve unleashed us.”

- He invited Husted onstage. Husted got a standing ovation when he said this week Ohio reported the lowest unemployment rate in the history of Ohio.

- He invited Ramaswamy onstage, and he said he was running against the “Kamala Harris of Ohio.” His challenger’s name is Amy Acton. The president called her a “radical left lunatic.”

- The president thanked Bill Pulte for attending and someone in the crowd yelled out “Wild Bill Pulte!”

- He said “the Golden Age is upon us but you must get out and vote Republican.”

- He seemed happy to see “Mr Wall” of his diehard Front Row Joes fan club. He said “in my final appearance I’m going to put a jacket on like that,” gesturing to the man’s brick wall-print suit.

Also of note: The president’s motorcade was rerouted to the venue initially due to the protest outside, per a USSS official.

Thanks to Haley Bull & Elyse Perlmutter for catching a few of these things.

Pool was ushered out while the president was still onstage and interacting with fans behind him.

NAVARRO:
"Washington treated Fauci like the best thing since sliced bread. I was the only one in the West Wing who wasn't buying it."

Peter Navarro was right, and he paid for it. While most of Washington treated Fauci like untouchable clergy, Navarro was the one in the West Wing willing to say the emperor had no clothes. Then the Biden DOJ locked him up for contempt of Congress over the Jan. 6 committee subpoena. Four months in federal prison for refusing to play along. Trade hawk, China skeptic, and one of the few who never bent the knee.

POTUS walked out of the residence at 3:16 pm. He started taking questions.

When asked about why he pushed for mail-in voting:

“I’d rather have them vote in-person, but they can vote by mail if they want… a lot of people want to vote by mail, but a lot of very good people also want to vote in-person.”

He said he’s going to Michigan: “I don’t know about Maine, I think we’re going to Maine too but we’re going to Michigan in a week and a half.”

On plague in Russia: “We’re looking at it very strongly. We just heard about it.”

He said if Iran has combat drones in the UK, Iran “will suffer greatly.”

On potential US army base in Poland: “It could happen. They want it badly. They want it, and I like the president, you know I endorsed him.”

When asked if he’s more concerned about Michael Whatley’s Senate race or Jon Husted he said, “I think Jon Husted picked up a lot since we left.”

“I would be very happy to see Michael Whatley do well.”

He said the U.S. moved its long-range bombers out of the UK in response to “a threat.”
“They would be linked to Iran.”

Would he consider a base in Lithuania: “We’ll they’re friends of mine. They’re great people. So we’ll certainly look at it. They are great people.”

He pushed back on polls saying his support from Latino voters has dropped: “My polls are great.”

Good afternoon from JBA.

POTUS stepped off M1 at 12:49 pm and did not respond to shouted questions.

We are rolling imminently.

Nebraska is home to a tight Senate race, pitting U.S. Sen. Pete Ricketts against Dan Osborn, who is running as an independent.

A prisoner who was freed early under Labour's release scheme went on to stab a mum to death. Robert Sabat, 59, is due to be sentenced for murder on Wednesday (October 7) after Dickiesa Nurse, 42, was stabbed at her home in McCormick House, Tulse Hill, London, on October 27 last year. Sabat had previously been in prison for harassment and knife offences, but was let out early under a previous round of Government releases.

Biden caught and released two Dominican illegal aliens at the Arizona border. Now they’re wanted for stabbing an off-duty NYPD detective, and New York ignored an ICE detainer on one of them.

That’s what Democrat open-border policies do.
