What should be rattling the Indian Defence Ministry is the recent Chinese ingress into Sri Lanka. China has acquired a controlling stake in the Hambantota Port Project, and the Colombo Port City special economic zone (SEZ). The threatening, new Chinese presence is barely 290 km from the southernmost tip of the Indian peninsula – Kanya Kumari, and we hear the news of this massive drugs and guns trafficking into Lakshadweep.

Looking back into History, will we see a re-enactment, very soon, of the Chinese naval foray into Calicut, that took place in 1406 CE? What does the national monument mean?
...a place of historic, scenic, or scientific interest set aside for preservation usually by presidential proclamation.

What is not allowed in national monuments?
National Monuments have generally banned extractive activities like mining, drilling, logging, and grazing — with an exception for existing operations. They also tend to limit off-road vehicle use and prevent the land from being sold off. Whether or not hunting is allowed depends on which agency is managing the land

FACT
India has one of the largest thorium deposits in the world with a capacity of ~360,000 tonnes. Thorium occurs in the form of a single isotope, Th-232, which degenerates at a very slow rate and Ram setu has the highest deposit of Thorium. This means if Ram Setu is declared "national monuments" By Modi Government, even Govt can't mine THORIUM.

I hope you remember President Kalam statement where he said India should do research on Thorium as it is the future of India Nuke Doctrine as well as it will solve India's need for electricity

The Ram Setu part of sea can't have Indian Navy surveillance as large and mid-size can't sail in this area due to the depth of the sea. This means it is open for smuggling of Thorium

Indian boats can't do smuggling as they have to come to India shores which is surveillance by agencies and the Navy. Hence the smuggling is open for Sri Lankan boats (Including Chlnese?

So by asking Govt to declare Ram Setu as national monuments, Swamy is fixing two target

1. Preventing Thorium mining so that India depends on uranium, which means we Indians have to depend on uranium club headed by the US. Similarly means dependence on AMERICA

2. Preventing Thorium mining so that the Sri Lankan boats managed by Cheeni can continue mining Thorium for its own use with the help and support of 10 Janpath who in past has a History of Thorium Mining since Nehru days

Now the question is...

Who is Swamy Batting for
