Pro-democracy Lawmakers Quit, After Beijing Forcefully Removes 4 Elected Lawmakers from HK's Legislature
Starting from November 11, 2020, Hong Kong's legislature might not have an opposition camp, at least for the time being.
Supported by the HK government, China announced the immediate removal of 4 pro-democracy lawmakers from Legislative Council. They are Alvin Yeung, Dennis Kwok, Kwok Ka-ki and Kenneth Leung Kai-cheong.

In response to Beijing's forceful disqualifications of elected lawmakers, members of the pro-democracy camp resigned en masse in the same afternoon. Cheng Chung-tai and Chan Pui-yin remain as the only two pro-democracy lawmakers in the now 43-membered Legislative Council.
