The Maqŝūr, Manqūŝ and Mamdūd Nouns
الاسْمُ الْمَقْصُورُ والْمَنْقُوصُ والْمَمْدُودُ
Maqsur=a noun ending with a long alif /-ā/]. مُصْطَفى/هدى
Manqus=a nouns end with the letter (ي) (yā’) /-ī/ الْقَاضِي / شَادِي
Mamdud=a noun ending with a hamzah (ء) preceded by a long alif/حَسْناءُ
