47人案求情｜長毛陳情信 近半世紀抗爭理念總結 陳寶瑩：他堅定要求，就努力陪他寫下去

「權力歸於人民是我終生信守的理念，從政的基礎⋯⋯今天我雖然成為階下囚，但我毋怨。」47人案，參與新界西初選的八名被告今 （ 27 日）開始求情，「長毛」梁國雄向法庭呈上近千字的陳情信，簡單回顧近 50 年來從政一點一滴。社民連主席、梁國雄太太陳寶瑩形容，這封信是長毛對自己多年來從政的一個交代：「他是講出了心底的說話，以及為甚麼四十多年來都要去參與這場運動，追求的是甚麼，這是他的總結及交代。」
陳寶瑩說，也會擔心這樣的陳情信會否令長毛加刑，因認為庭上三位法官都很強調，被告有沒悔意，陳情信或會被指是政治陳述：「我們都不斷問他，是否這封信？他很堅定地說就是要這一封。」
陳寶瑩慨嘆，作為家屬，要向他分析形勢，著他考慮清楚，不要後悔。面對此情此景，她只感到傷心，因陳情本來就是要說為何參與，目的為何等，但當陳情內容，似乎很多都不能說出口時，只覺得這樣很可悲：「我覺得我要問佢『你諗清楚喎』，呢句說話本身都好可悲。」
陳寶瑩說，自己也是社運中人，理解陳情信是他總結大半生的參與，如不能做完這個總結，只覺得可悲。於是，這份陳情信，陳寶瑩都有參與「改稿」，因現時一周大約探望四日，寶瑩便趁著每日 15 分鐘的會面時間，陪著長毛改完又改。陳寶瑩說，受牢獄之災的是長毛，不是自己，當他堅定要求是這一封後，就努力陪他寫下去。最後，陳情信呈上法庭，陳寶瑩只感到快樂。
從政以來被捕無數次，累積至今，至少有 17 個案底。他因 47 人案，2021 年起還押至今。
陳寶瑩記得，長毛狀態最差的時候是在 818 非法集結後被判囚，因判刑後每月只有四次與家屬好友見面的機會，而愛他的人，如太太、社民連黨友、以及相識多年的好友，與他見面可給他動力。
陳寶瑩說，最近與長毛見面，認為他的心情已漸漸恢復。而令陳寶瑩更欣慰的，是長毛仍保持清晰的頭腦。她舉例，長毛就算只靠報紙接收有關 818 非法集結案的判辭，也能與她討論：「思路好清晰，都不停有運作到。」
三年半以來，陳寶瑩一直與他同行，生活大小事務都由她包辦。她透露，長毛退休時想寫「失敗者的歷史」，最近她也入了台灣白色恐怖時期、東南亞近代史的書藉，讓長毛參考；同時也是給長毛知道，其他人面對的社會運動，處境更艱難，希望可以給他一點鼓勵。
