【行動召集｜人人都是黎智英】
黎智英（Jimmy Lai，1948年生），是香港知名企業家、媒體人、民主運動支持者，也是《蘋果日報》的創辦人。多年來，他堅持揭露真相，捍衛新聞自由與人權，即使在香港言論空間急速收窄，他依然直言無懼。
2020年12月31日，他因「國安法」的莫須有罪名被還押，至今已在監獄中 4年3個多月。這場審判不是單單針對他，而是針對香港的新聞自由、言論自由和民主精神。
我們在外地，還能發聲的朋友，是否應該為他，或為自己的良知，做一點事？
在8月14日結案陳詞前，讓我們付出一個輕微而有力的行動，讓全世界看到-也許也能讓他知道-香港人，以及所有支持民主與自由的人，從未放棄，並且會一直支持他去做對的事。

Jimmy Lai, 77, founder of Apple Daily, is facing life imprisonment under Hong Kong’s #nationalsecuritylaw. Prosecutors allege he colluded with foreign forces and published seditious material. His meetings with U.S. officials and calls for sanctions were framed as hostile acts—not free speech.

Lai’s defense argues he was exercising his right to advocate for democracy and press freedom.

After over 1,600 days in solitary confinement, Lai appeared in court visibly thinner, suffering heart palpitations and collapse-like episodes. His son called the conditions “a form of torture,” especially in Hong Kong’s sweltering heat.

黎智英已在獄中獨囚逾1,600日，近日出庭時身形消瘦，並出現心悸與接近昏倒的症狀。其子形容獄中環境如「酷刑」，尤其在炎熱的夏。

【8月19日｜袁嘉蔚刑滿出獄】

初選47人案中被判囚51個月的袁嘉蔚，於8月19日早上刑滿出獄，由警方安排離開羅湖懲教所。她在 IG 發帖：「辛苦晒大家喇，瞓覺先～給更生人士一個機會，要唞了」，並手持花束感謝馮達浚：「多謝馮達浚紮花」。

馮達浚早前已出獄，並在 IG 分享探監及書店之行。袁嘉蔚的律師曾透露，她在獄中成婚，人生已改寫，正踏上更生之路，盼望重新開始，組織家庭。

August 19 | Gwyneth Ho Released

After serving 51 months in prison for her role in the 47 democrats case, Gwyneth Ho was released on August 19 and left Lo Wu Correctional Institution in a police-arranged vehicle. She posted on IG: “Thanks everyone, time to sleep~ Give rehabilitated people a chance. Need to rest.” Holding a bouquet, she thanked Fergus Leung: “Thanks Fergus for the flowers.”

Fergus Leung, also a defendant, was released earlier and shared photos of prison visits and bookstore outings. Ho’s lawyer previously revealed she got married while incarcerated and is now on a path of rehabilitation, hoping to start a family.

Videos showed officers using batons and pepper spray inside train carriages and on platforms, injuring civilians. The incident shocked the city and sparked ongoing calls for truth and accountability.
