警方昨日（十一月六日）接獲相關政府部門報案，指有人假冒警務處副處長向政府部門發出偽冒電郵，內含侮辱性字句。
警方澄清，警務處副處長並沒有發出該虛假電郵。警方高度關注案件並交由網絡安全及科技罪案調查科跟進。
警方強烈譴責涉案人士。警方提醒市民，互聯網的世界並不是無法可依，大部分針對現實世界的法例均適用於互聯網世界，市民切勿以身試法。
The Police yesterday (November 6) received a report from Government departments stating that someone has forged an insulting email, sent to Government offices, from the Deputy Commissioner of Police.
The Police clarify that the Deputy Commissioner of Police did not send the forged email and accord high priority to this case, which is under investigation by Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau.
The Police strongly condemn the offenders and remind members of the public that the cyberspace is not a lawless world. Most of the legislations applicable to the real world also apply to the virtual world. Please refrain from breaking the law.

Regarding a case of person fell from height occurred on 2019-11-04 at a carpark in Tseung Kwan O, the Police send the deep condolence to the deceased’s family and friends. Like many Hong Kong people, the Police are deeply saddened by the passing of this young gentleman.
This case is currently under investigation of Kowloon East Regional Crime Unit. We pledge that we will spend every effort to investigate into the cause of his death. We will also recommend a death inquest. All information about his death will be heard in an open court.
Regarding the allegation that the Police had caused a delay in the rescue operation of the deceased by obstructing the ambulance, we must reiterate that this is a totally false statement. Fire Services Department also clarified on this incident, that in this summons for paramedics, staff of the concerned ambulance had not interacted with any Police officers. The route of ambulance was blocked by vehicle obstruction, including buses and private cars.

Police expressed profound sadness over the death of a 22-year-old man who fell down in a carpark in Tseung Kwan O on November 4 and subsequently passed away after treatment in a hospital. Police offered the deepest condolences to his family and friends.
The case is under investigation by Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon East. In response to the open letter demanding a thorough and independent investigation into the case, Police wish to point out that, according to the Coroners Ordinance, the coroner has the right to request Police to submit a death investigation report and to order an inquest into the death of a person. Police pledge that Police will investigate into the case in depth. Police also recommend a death inquest and will submit a report to the coroner. If an inquest is to be held, all investigation data will be disclosed in open court.
Regarding the demand for clarifications on the cause of the delay from Police and relevant departments, Police held a press briefing jointly with the Fire Services Department (FSD) on November 8. In response to the accusations that Police obstructed ambulances and caused delay in the rescue of the fallen man, Police stress that the rumours are false and groundless. The FSD also gave detailed clarifications that there was no interaction between the ambulance and police officers at the scene during the ambulance call. 大量示威者佔據尖沙咀彌敦道、漆咸道南及柯士甸道交界一帶行車線，又以雜物設置路障堵路，造成交通嚴重阻塞。部分蒙面示威者更破壞商店、打破店舖玻璃。
警方警告立刻停止違法行為，現已展開驅散行動，包括使用人群管理特別用途車，驅散示威者。

Police warn the protestors to stop their illegal acts. Police are conducting a dispersal operation and have deployed Specialised Crowd Management Vehicles (SCMV).

就香港科技大學（科大）校長史維於十一月八日向科大全體人員發出的公開信，警方有以下回應：
就十一月四日一名二十二歲男子從將軍澳一停車場墮下，送院接受治療後終告不治的事件，警方深感痛心和難過，並對他的家人和朋友致以深切慰問，希望他們節哀順變。
案件現由東九龍總區重案組接手調查。對於公開信中要求深入及獨立調查事件，警方希望指出，根據《死因裁判官條例》，死因裁判官有權就死亡個案要求警方提交死亡調查報告，死因裁判官亦有權就死亡個案命令進行研訊。警方承諾必定會深入調查事件經過，並建議召開死因研訊，將報告交由死因裁判官決定。如果日後召開死因研訊，所有調查資料都會於庭上公開披露。

• Festival Walk in Kowloon Tong: radical protestors sprayed paint on glass panels of shops
• East Point City in Hang Hau: a large group of protestors chanting slogans in the mall
• Citywalk in Tsuen Wan: they stormed the shops, pushed the tables and chairs on the floor and sprayed paint on them.
