​​Namada will launch its mainnet on December 3. This will commence Phase 1 of mainnet. NAM token transfers will be enabled at Phase 5. Namada is a POS L1 for interchain asset-agnostic privacy built on the Anoma protocol and by Anoma team.

​​A modular Layer 2 Sophon will release its mainnet on December 18th. Token transfers to be enabled in Q1 2025.

​​Bitcoin L2 developer Botanix Labs announced testnet release. According to the blog post it will be the first EVM-equivalent Layer 2 on Bitcoin. Earlier this year startup raised $11.5M from Polychain, Placeholder and others.

​​Nexus Labs will be launching a new Nexus network testnet on December 9. Nexus Labs is building a distributed prover network. The testnet is available for every user and it will remain open till December 13. Earlier this year startup raised $25M from Pantera and Lightspeed and others.

​​Ethereum-based NFT collection Pudgy Penguins will launch its token PENGU on Solana in December 2024. 25.9% of the supply is set to be distributed to the Pudgy Penguins community, while 24.12% will be distributed to other communities and new "Huddle" members.
