Both sentences are grammatically correct. The first sentence which ends with a preposition is less formal. We'd definitely prefer it in IELTS Speaking.

In IELTS Writing Task 2, it's better to use more formal writing style, so sentence 2 is the perfect choice (sentence 1 is still acceptable). You should, however, avoid sentence 2 in IELTS Speaking as it's too formal for spoken English.

All the sentences are correct. Versions 1 are better for IELTS Speaking and versions 2 for IELTS Writing.

Can you feel the difference in their style?

Another common problem I see in IELTS Writing is when students use the exact same structure for different essay types, mixing up where to give their opinion and where it isn't actually required πŸ’£

Here’s the video where you can learn how to tackle different essay types side-by-side, so you know exactly how to structure your answers and improve your score in your Writing Task 2 πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ«
