86Football, abbreviated as 86FB, is a Manchester-based sports investment company[3] co-founded by City Football Group (CFG) and William Hill Limited in May 2015.[4] The company's primary operations are to provide users with football-related products and services,[5] including football clubs, football academies, and technical support.[6] Its main products are the 86Football APP and the 86Football website.[7] It owns a football club certified and regulated by the local government in Nigeria[8] and established an Internet sports event investment firm in that country.[9]

City Football Group and William Hill Limited are the two largest investors in 86Football, where the former holds a 70 percent stake and the latter a 30 percent stake in the company.[10] CFG, launched in 2013,[11] is the first largest shareholder of 86FB, which operates various football clubs,[12] including New York City F.C. and Manchester City F.C.,[13] and received a $500 million equity financing from Silver Lake in November 2019.[14] William Hill Limited, the second shareholder of 86FB, was established in 1934,[15] and formerly went public on the London Stock Exchange.[16]
