You may heard about the death of Payman which caused by impaired Iranian driver on Aug 18, 2019.
They were in a multi-vehicle, catastrophic car accident which killed Peyman , caused Nazanin life-changing injuries & critical injuries to their son.
One person faces charges of impaired driving, speeding infractions & vehicular homicide etc.
Nazanin had internal bleeding, multiple hand fractures, multiple fractures in both feet & multiple rib fractures. She has excruciating pain, is immobile & remains in hospital.
Their son also had surgery for fractures. Both were treated in special trauma units.
This family from Iran has lost everything: their beloved Peyman, their health and their livelihood . Nazanin was an Occupation Therapist in Iran. Peyman was an engineer & the sole breadwinner in Canada.
They need the grandparents to come from Iran to care for them. The son now has no father and a disabled mother.
This family is heartbroken & devastated. They face a dark uncertain future & a long road ahead of them. They are fighters, but, they need our help. This family worked hard in Canada & have always reached out to help others. Now it is our turn. This family thought that there would be resources in place to support them while they try to put their lives back together but unfortunately this is not so.
