Additionally, while these medals were deemed not to have been designed by the NIA, we are releasing all five tiers that were sent to us. This is to ensure that Agents can still use them as they see fit.
We're taking special care to remind everyone that these medals will not make it into the Scanner.

Agents,
Remember the Mission Day + NL1331X event in Izmir, Turkey, that took place in 2019 but was spoiled for agents because the pins that were supposed to be available for them on site never arrived?
Well, with some delay, the organizer of the following form was able to get his hands on the long awaited items, and they are now available for pickup for agents who bought them out.
Agent @suedschwede sent us the following Google form that must be filled out to receive the pin: https://forms.gle/jkMntbbTkwaQaaRX8
For a request to be valid, the original email with the PDF receipt must be sent to the email listed on the form. Postage, if required, is the responsibility of the recipient.
We hope to reach as many agents as possible in this way and will be grateful for any help in spreading the good news!
A big thank you to the organizers of this initiative and to all of you for your cooperation!

Niantic's web3 project, the Ingress Trading Post, is shutting down on June 9th.
The Trading Post aimed to connect Ingress Agents around the world through digital Ingress Bio Cards, but the company plans to shift focus to other priorities. Users will have 60 days from today to download their Bio Cards and 30 days to trade and create new Bio Cards before the shutdown.
On June 9th, the Trading Post website and associated Niantic Campfire channel will shut down.

Niantic has sold high level gear in the past, to much pushback. The kits currently in the store feature far more items than previous bundles/loadout cards (5-10x more items).

The first round of the Echo Anomaly starts this Saturday! Once the weekend starts, two character medals will be on sale together with a Loadout of various items.
The left medal, Devra Bogdanovich 2023, is brand new and will be on sale for the first time. Once again Niantic seemed to have used an AI generated image for the design of this medal.
The right medal, Devra Bogdanovich 2016, has been on sale via Anomaly kits in the past and was most recently found in the X Series Kit as part of the three random Biocards per Kit.
Both Loadouts will cost 30 800 CMU (approx. 24€) each. It is currently unknown which items will be included in the Loadout although chances are high that they will look similar to the past Character Loadout bundles.

The two Devra Bogdanovich medal bundles are now online! Instead of the expected Loadout of various items you'll instead receive 10 Rare Kinetic Capsules each in addition to the medal. As 10 Rare Kinetic Capsule costs 20.000 CMU if you would be buying them separately, a medal is priced at around 10.800 CMU, which is about 8,10€ when buying the closest CMU package.
