Wondering what it takes to earn the Cryptic Memories Global Ops Medal?
We've done a few calculations and we are sharing them with you!
Bronze Medal - 1.500 points
- 63 neutralizations and full-deploys of fully-deployed enemy (or Machina-controlled) Portals
OR
- 94 full-deploys of neutral Portals
Silver Medal - 15.000 points
- 625 neutralizations and full-deploys of fully-deployed enemy (or Machina-controlled) Portals
OR
- 938 full-deploys of neutral Portals
It's a steep road to Silver, but we know this threshold will be reached by many 💪

Important update to the Chicago anomaly in May
After consideration and discussion with the POCs of the Chicago anomaly the decision was made by Niantic to reschedule the Anomaly, delaying it by a week from May 18 to May 25.
This decision was made in part due to a separate event that is held in Chicago on the weekend of May 18 causing prices for hotels to skyrocket and making it very expensive to visit the city during that time.
