"No grave should one take a trip to visit except for visiting our graves. Indeed, I will be wrongfully poisoned to death and buried in a strange land. Then, whoever prepares for a pilgrimage to my grave, his supplication will be fulfilled and his sins forgiven."

🏴 Recommended Acts for 28 Safar

On the 28th of Safar, we commemorate the passing of Prophet Muhammad (S) and the martyrdom of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (as).

Here are some recommended acts for this day:

1️⃣ Give Charity (Sadaqah)

2️⃣ Fast

3️⃣ Perform Ghusl

4️⃣ Recite this Supplication 10 times:

يَا شَدِيدَ ٱلْقُوَىٰ
O Lord of mighty prowess!
وَيَا شَدِيدَ ٱلْمِحَالِ
O Lord of mighty power!
يَا عَزِيزُ يَا عَزِيزُ يَا عَزِيزُ
O Exalted in might! O Exalted in might! O Exalted in might!
ذَلَّتْ بِعَظَمَتِكَ جَمِيعُ خَلْقِكَ
Submissive to Your Almightiness are all of Your creatures;
فَاكْفِنِي شَرَّ خَلْقِكَ
so, (please) save me from the evil of Your creatures.
يَا مُحْسِنُ يَا مُجْمِلُ
O All-liberal! O All-bountiful!
يَا مُنْعِمُ يَا مُفْضِلُ
O Source of all bounties! O Doer of favors!
يَا لاَ إِلٰهَ إِلاَّ انْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ
O He save Whom there is no god! All glory be to You!
إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّالِمِينَ
Verily, I have been a wrongdoer.
فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ وَنَجّيْنَاهُ مِنَ ٱلْغَمِّ
So We heard his prayer and saved him from the anguish.
وَكَذلِكَ نُنْجِي ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
Thus do We save the believers.
وَصَلَّىٰ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ ٱلطَّيِّبِينَ ٱلطَّاهِرِينَ
May Allah send blessings to Muhammad and his Household, the pure and immaculate.

5️⃣ Recite the Ziyarat of Prophet Muhammad (S)

Recite the Ziyarat of Prophet(S), including the Ziyarat from afar (Ziyarat al-Nabi min al-Ba‘id).

6️⃣ Recite the Ziyarat of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (as)

Send your salutations to Imam Hasan (as) by reciting his Ziyarat from afar.

♨️ Fourth Mission: Silence and Avoiding Argumentation

The Compassionate Imam (as) said:

“…and command them to observe silence and to avoid arguing about matters that do not concern them.”

Silence is golden, while speech is silver. Silence becomes a measure of wisdom when others engage in falsehood or in conversations that hold no real benefit. Let your silence be one of wisdom and reflection, guiding you in the affairs of both this world and the Hereafter.
