Imam al-Baqir (as) said:

“When our Qaim rises, sets his hand (authority) over the heads of the servants, then, he will give them intellectual development and complete their patience and insights. After that, Allah will extend their sights and their hearing so that there will be no barrier between them and the Qaim when he decides to speak with them, then they hear, and they can watch him while he is in his place.”

... إِذا قامَ قائِمُنا وَضَـعَ يَدَهُ عَلى رُؤُوسِ العِبادِ فَجَمَعَ بِهِ عُقُولَهُم، وَ كَمُلَت بِهِ أَح لامُهُم ، ثُمَّ مَدَّ اللّهُ فِي أَبصارِهِم وَ أَس مـاعِهِم حَتّى لا يَكُونَ بَي نَهُـم وَ بَينَ القائِمِ حِجابٌ يُرِيدُ أَن يُكَلِّمَهُم فَيَس مَعُونَ، وَ يَنظُرُونَ إِلَي هِ وَ هوَ في مَكانِهِ!

🌘 The first night of Rabi' al-Awwal marks the beginning of the hijrah, which is the start of the Islamic calendar.

On this night, the Messenger of Allah began his migration from Mecca to Medina. During this time, the Prophet, pursued by the disbelievers, took refuge in the Cave of Thawr, while Ali (as), risking his own life to protect the Prophet (saws), slept in the Prophet's bed, unconcerned about the swords of the enemy tribes. This act demonstrated his loyalty and selfless devotion to his cousin, the Messenger of Allah.

It was on this occasion that verse 22:07 was revealed:

"And among the people is he who sells his soul seeking the pleasure of Allah, and Allah is most kind to His servants."

🤲 "O my God, I have always been a poverty stricken, poor beggar at Your Door.
Please let all my affairs be connected to good reliance upon You, good return to You and being content with Your destination, certitude to You, and trusting You.

Glory be to You, of knowledge We have none, save what You have taught us: In truth it is You Who are perfect in knowledge and wisdom.”

إِلَهِي لَمْ أَزَلْ سَائِلًا مِسْكِيناً فَقِيراً إِلَيْكَ فَاجْعَلْ جَمِيعَ أمري [أُمُورِي‌] مَوْصُولًا بِثِقَةِ الِاعْتِمَادِ عَلَيْكَ وَ حُسْنِ الرُّجُوعِ إِلَيْكَ وَ الرِّضَا بِقَدَرِكَ وَ الْيَقِينِ بِكَ وَ التَّفْوِيضِ إِلَيْكَ‌

If you want your brother’s amity for you to be pure, do not make fun of him, do not dispute with him, do not exchange boasts with him, and do not compete with him in evil acts.
