Ya Baba Reza, I am your sinful child, standing at your door with nothing but my helplessness. I ask for your mercy, your kindness, and your affection. I ask for nothing from this deceptive world. 🍃

Ya Baba Reza, O kind and generous Imam, look upon me with compassion. Take my broken heart, my fears, my tears, and my burdens. I have nowhere to turn but toward the door of your mercy. 🤲

💠 There is none who precedes her in virtue

It is narrated from Imam Ridha’ (as) that Imam as-Sadiq (as), in answer to a woman who wanted not to marry in order to gain a great virtue, said:

“Do not do that, because if it was a virtue, Fatimah (sa) would be more competent than you, and, surely, there is none (of women) who can excel her in any virtue.”

عَنِ الإمامِ الرِّضا عليه السلام قالَ: اِنَّ امرَأَةً سَأَلَت أبا جَع فَرٍ عليه السلام فَقالَت : اَصلَحَكَ اللّهُ إِنّي مُتَبَتِّلَةٌ، فَقالَ لَها: وَ مَا التَّبَتُّلُ عِندَكِ؟ قالَت: لا اُريدُ التَّزويجَ أَبَداً، قالَ: وَلِمَ؟ قالَت: أَل تَمِسُ في ذلِكَ اَلفَض لَ، فَقالَ عليه السلام :
اِن صَرِفي، فَلَو كانَ فِي ذلِكَ فَضلٌ لَكانَت فاطِمَةُ صَلَواتُ اللهِ عليها اَحَقَّ بِهِ مِن كِ، اِنَّهُ لَيسَ اَحدٌ يَسبِقُها إِلى الفَضلِ.

O God, whoever seeks a refuge, You are my refuge,

💠 Quran Light

Indeed, We are sending the she-camel as a test for them. Therefore, we said unto Salih (as) to watch their end and be patient!

إِنَّا مُرْسِلُوا النَّاقَةِ فِتْنَةً لَهُمْ فَارْتَقِبْهُمْ وَ اصْطَبِرْ

📖 Surah Al Qamar, Verse 27

⚜The people of Thamud went to the extreme in denying Prophet Salih's (as) Prophetic Call and said unto him derisively:

"If you are a Prophet, command the mount to send forth a red haired ten month pregnant camel and we share the water with her such that she may drink the water and provide us with milk and the next day we use the water.”

To try them God Almighty granted their wish and it was through Divine Will and Omnipotence that a red haired and ten month pregnant camel came out of the mount thus addressing Prophet Salih (as):

"Watch and be patient so that you see what they will do to the she-camel.
