📄 Muharram is gone but the path of Hussain (AS) continues. The following poem is written on the occasion of Ashura to Arbaeen by our devotee brother Abu al-Ḥasan (Muḥammad Yāsīn) from Qom. May Allah bestow His Grace and Kindness upon him.

🏴 The Whispered Orison of the Lone Son of Karbalāʾ 🏴
O God, fill me with awe of my [father], the awe one has toward a [powerful] sovereign,
Let me always be in awe of him, the one that fell alone and headless in a land foreign!
Make my devotion to [him], more refreshing to my breast than to the thirsty, a drink!
To him is my devotion yet that day could not I quench his thirst, his life on the brink!
O God, thank [him] for my upbringing, reward him for honouring me,
Honour for me is that by Thy bounty anointed was he, Father of The Free!
O God, let me not forget to remember [him] after my ritual prayers,
Even whilst they chain me and drag me, for in Thy Hands are our affairs!
[O God, let us to] gather together through Thy gentleness in the house of Thy generosity,
For never will Thou abandon us, our love for Thee unwavering in every imaginable atrocity!
[O God], give [my brothers and companions] success in performing Thy prescriptions,
The best of those was defending Ḥusayn, so did they merit all the Godly ascriptions!
[O God], be tender and merciful toward the afflicted among them,
For ʾAḥmad, Murtaḍā, Batūl, Mujtabā and Ḥusayn did their loyalty stem!
[O God, let them receive] the beauties of Thy courtesy, through acting gently with their weak,
After they were killed along with Ḥusayn, upon their defenceless, Thine enemies havoc did they wreak!
[O God, spare us from] the evil of Satan's snares, and the bitterness of [that] sovereign's aggression!
Ḥusayn set out for nothing except to reform the Dīn of Muḥammad l, which was usurped by oppression!
[O God,] the guided are guided only by the light of Thy face,
What better guidance than from Ḥusayn, one final embrace!
[O God, in our predicament] make us one of Thy summoners who summon to Thee,
Like ʿAbbās who lost him arms, the son of ʿAlī who from battle never did flee!
O God, O Sufficer of the isolated and weak and Protector against terrifying affairs!
You sufficed and protected us, whilst the army of Satan murdered Thy Messenger’s heirs!
O God, I rise in the morning and enter into evening as Thy lowly slave,
Like my brother ʿAlī, who fell defending our father, so gallant, so brave!
[O God, let] my journey be toward Thy mercy, and into Thy good pleasure be my entrance!
My aunt Zaynab along every trial, hungry, exhausted, always in Thy remembrance!
[O God], from the evil among Thy creatures, clothe my heart in estrangement,
These vile beings trampled upon Zahrā's garden just for entertainment!
[O God, make] lie in Thee and the best of Thy creatures, my sufficiency and my independence!
Muḥammad, ʿAlī, Fāṭimah, Ḥasan and Ḥusayn, who over all Thy creation enjoy the ultimate transcendence!
O God, Thou art powerful over every thing! (3:26)
Thou art eternal hope and Thou art its spring!
