🔹این دو کلمه از رایج ترین اشتباهات زبان آموزان می‌باشند و من زبان آموزانی را دیده‌ام که بعد از مدت‌ها آموزش زبان انگلیسی حتی نمی دانند این کلمات با هم فرق می کنند.

🔸Advise

🔹کلمه advise، یک فعل بوده و معانی اصلی آن عبارتند از: نصیحت کردن یا اخطار دادن یا پیشنهاد کردن، توصیه کردن، آگاه کردن (از یک حقیقت، قانون، حقوق و …). تلفظ این کلمه به شکل /ədvaɪz/ می‌باشد که باید به صدای /z/ یا /ز/ و همچنین محل تکیه (همان stress) در آن بسیار دقت کنید.

✳️ We advised them to save their money.
✳️ به آنها توصیه کردیم پولشون را پس‌انداز کنند.

✳️ He advised them not to buy a house.
✳️ به آنها توصیه کرد که خانه نخرند.

🔹کلمه advice یک اسم است و بصورت /ədvaɪs/ تلفظ می‌شود. همانطور که می‌بینید تنها فرق این کلمه با advise در صدای /s/ یا /س/ است. پس بسیار مراقب باشید! چون هرچند از موقعیت می‌توان حدس زد منظورتان فعل بوده یا اسم، اما این مساله برای مخاطب‌های شما آزار دهنده خواهد بود. این کلمه معانی مختلفی دارد که چند تا از آنها عبارتند از: مشورت، پند، نصیحت.
