« Future Perfect »

🔺 Structure: Subject + will + (not) + have + past participle + ... .

🔹Usage

1. It refers to a completed action in future; an action that will be finished at certain time in future. We usually use this tense when the completion of the activity is clear.
›› e.g. I'll have finished this book.

2. It talks about an action that will be completed before another event takes place.
›› e.g. Luca will have learned Deutsch before he moves to Germany.

3. It expresses conviction that something happened in the near past.
›› e.g. They will have arrived to the party by now.
›› e.g. He will probably have noticed that his bike is broken .

Adverbs like already, probably and certainly are placed after the first auxiliary.
Also we can use "by + a time", "before + a time" or "in + a time".

›› e.g. We will have finished this chapter by the end of this week.
›› e.g.
My teacher will have gotten his new car in three days.
›› e.g.
Don't worry. Before the party begins, I will already have cleaned our apartment.

[Verse 1]
I see it in your eyes
You're seconds from destroying me
I've said my last goodbye
Now someone get me outta here
Can't take another lie
Stop telling me who I should be

[Pre-Chorus 1]
'Cause I don't wanna go where you're going
You're telling me I can't change my mind

[Chorus]
So I'm cold as stone
The only way I know
To keep my soul
And never let it show
That I don't really know what I'm doing
All I know is I'm crashing down

[Post-Chorus]
So let me, let me out
I can't love you anymore
Let me, let me out
I don't love you like before

[Drop]
Let me, let me
I don't love you
Let me, let me
Don't love you like before

[Verse 2]
Never felt so lonely
There you're standing, next to me
I always feel so empty
When you promise you won't leave
Every time you hold me
I run away so I can breathe

[Pre-Chorus 2]
You can't even hear me when I'm screaming
Trying to say you're way out of line

[Chorus]
So I'm cold as stone
The only way I know
To keep my soul
And never let it show
I'm cold as stone (cold)

[Post-Chorus]
So let me, let me out
I can't love you anymore
Let me, let me out
I don't love you like before

[Drop]
Let me, let me
I don't love you
Let me, let me
Don't love you like before

[Bridge]
I was wearing my heart on my sleeve
Before when I used to be down on my knees
It's funny, how clearly I see
I was trying, oh so desperately

[Post-Chorus]
So let me, let me out
I can't love you anymore
Let me, let me out
I don't love you like before
So let me, let me out
I can't love you anymore
Let me, let me out
I don't love you like before

- It is bad.
- He writes the letter in bad French.
- I had a bad dream last night.

🔺 Unpleasant
›› e.g. Bad news -> Unpleasnt news
›› e.g. It is unpleasant.
›› e.g. An unpleasant taste

🔺Terrible
›› e.g. Bad handwriting -> Terrible handwriting
›› e.g. I had a terrible dream last night.
›› e.g. You made a terrible mistake.

🔺Lousy
›› e.g. What a bad weather! -> What a lousy weather!
›› e.g. The food was lousy.
›› e.g. I'm lousy at Tennis.

🔺Awful
›› e.g. The weather was bad. -> The weather was awful.
›› e.g. She is awful cute 😈 (خییییلیییییی خوشگلهههه)
›› e.g. You look awful, dude.

›› e.g. He writes the letter in bad French.

The Rooster, the Duck, and the Mermaids 🐓🦆🧞‍♀

🗣 A rooster and a duck were arguing so much over whether mermaids exist or not, that they decided to settle the matter once and for all , by searching the bottom of the sea.
They dived down, first seeing colourful fish, then medium-sized fish and large fish. Then they got so deep that they were in complete darkness and couldn’t see a thing.
This made them terribly scared, so they returned to the surface. The rooster was terrified and never wanted to return to the depths, but the duck encouraged him to keep trying. To calm the rooster, this time the duck took a flashlight . They dived down again to the darkness, and when they started getting scared, they switched the flashlight on.
When the darkness was lit up they saw that they were totally surrounded by mermaids.
The mermaids told them that they thought the rooster and the duck didn’t like them. The previous time the mermaids had been just about to invite their visitors to a big party, but the rooster and the duck had quickly left.
The mermaids were very happy to see that they had returned, though.
And thanks to their bravery and perseverance , the rooster and the duck became great friends with the mermaids.

Clause refers to a group of words that has a subject and a verb.

🔹 Independent Clause: (or Main Clause) has a subject and a verb and makes sense by itself. All complete sentences contain an independent clause.
›› e.g. She was going home.

🔹 Dependent Clause: (or Subordinate Clause) also has a subject and a verb, but is is not a complete sentence because it does not make sense by itself.
›› e.g. Because she was going home (!!!)

🔺 For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So. (FANBOYS)

›› e.g. Men and Women (Single Words)
›› e.g. in the living room or in the kitchen (Prepositional Phrase)
›› e.g. Andy didn't have a good job, nor did Jim. (Independent Clause)

›› e.g. The journalist is successful and well liked. (adj. and adj.) ✅
›› e.g. The journalist is a success and well liked. (noun and adj.) ❌

›› e.g. Where you go and what you do are not my concern.

›› e.g. They lived in her hometown, yet they were not happy.
