Most of the entanglements in our lives are due to two things :
▶️Being disowned by our parents due to our bad behaviour towards them
▶️Severing our ties with our relatives

Oppression (part three)
♦️Forgetting the life in the hereafter is a great oppression (toward one's soul)
♦️Amir al-Mu'minin Imam Ali (a) talks about another example of oppression in this hadith:
"He who becomes content with (having) the passing world instead of the everlasting one, is oppressing his self (soul)"
♦️Oppressing the self means to let go of a life which is infinitely more beautiful, complete, attractive, advanced, and happy, and be content simply with this worldly life.
This is the example of those who are willing to live one-dimensionally and are so preoccupied with this worldly life that they ignore and abandon God, their heavenly family, and their hereafter. this kind of stupidity is the exact opposite of having a discerning wisdom .
♦️Oppressing the self means ignoring the hereafter, abandoning the qualities that you will need in order to have a happy eternal life, and forgetting about your soul.
♦️If you want to be freed from this kind of oppression to your self, you need to be able to manage your ambitions.
♦️Make a decision:
what is it that you want to fall in love with?
how do you want your lifestyle to be?
what type of goals and dreams do you want to have?
♦️As long as you don't come in terms with yourself, you will experience various types of sadness that you don't deserve, and the root of all of them is the great oppression that you have toward your own self.

No wonder why Islam says "the paradise is under the feet of the mothers"
(It means that for a person to go to paradise, they need to show complete humility to their parents, especially their mothers.)

🌼 The prophet of Islam, Muhammad (s), is the prophet of kindness and mercy;
🌺 When he talked with someone, he would turn to and face that person completely and wouldn't look at people from the corner of his eyes.
🌷 He socialized a lot with the poor people and would accept their invitations to eat with them.
🍀 He was kind toward his relatives without giving them any special position or status.
🌼 When he wanted to point at something, he would always do it with his hand and never with his eyes or eyebrows.
🌸 He would never seek people's faults or shortcomings.
🌺 He would never talk bad about others, nor he would exaggerate in praising them.
💐 He would always visit the patients, even when they were living in the farthest areas of the city.

🍀 He used to say "Be lenient toward people, for I am not sent to make things hard for them"
🌼 He said "If you were planting a sapling and saw the signs of impending Judgement Day, continue with what you were doing and plant that tree"
🌸 He was very caring even toward the animals. One day, he saw a camel that was tethered with its load still on its back. He said "tell the owner of this camel to prepare himself for the punishment in the Day of Judgement"
🌺 He used to smell the flowers and said "This is the scent of paradise" and believed that we should appreciate plants and trees.

🌻A fair person is closer to God 🌻
♦️If you want to have an intimate and spiritual relationship with God, always bear this saying from Imam Ali (as) in mind:
"Verily, if you show fairness from yourself, God Himself will get close to you."
✅Remember:
♦️We are being tested for "fairness" in every relationship we have with others or any occupation that we accept its responsibility. there is no stage in life in which we are not being tested for this attribute. These "tests" are what enables us to get closer and more intimate with God.
♦️But, unfortunately, "it is none of my business" has become our motto in many of the situations we are going through in life, and It has made us become unfair.
♦️We should live a bit more carefully.

Why earthly loves fail?

We will be at a loss if we choose something to love except for God.
This will be a loss for our humanity, dignity, self-respect, happiness, and tranquility.
Failure in love happens when you sell yourself short.
This will continue as long as you escape from God and keep comforting yourself by the company of other beloveds, until they reject you one after the other and leave you alone.
The only one who remains with you in the end, is God.
Whether you are a believer or a sinner, God loves you.
God and your divine family are the only ones who love you unconditionally
The only being you can turn into whenever you need the comfort of talking to Him is God.
Do you know anyone who would love us this way?
The important thing in a loving relationship is to genuinely love the other person for what they are, and not for the need we have for them.
Who could love us this way except for God and the ahl al-bayt?
Imam Ali (a) said :
"I never wished to die in childhood and go to paradise; rather, I want to live and know my God."
There is no pleasure greater than getting to know God, to fall in love with Him, and to have an intimate and lasting relationship with Him.

A believer has two signs: happiness and serenity.
If you saw a person who is not calm and happy and is always struggling with sadness, depression, and sullenness, or he is always angry and irritable, it means that his soul is still weak and Immature, and he needs to believe in it and feed it appropriately.

Your spouse or children are your enemies, if they make you neglect God.

If we realized that our spouse or children are making us forget God, we should know that they are showing animosity toward us.
In regards to this Quran says
«یا أَیُّهَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا إِنَّ مِنْ أَزْواجِكُمْ وَ أَوْلادِكُمْ عَدُوًّا لَكُمْ فَاحْذَرُوهُمْ؛
"O you who have faith! Indeed, you have enemies among your spouses and children; so beware of them."
This “Beware of them” means not to treat your spouse or children in a way that would endanger your hereafter.
Every human being _ be it our parents, spouse, or children_ who makes us forget about our eternal life is a devil for us.
So, for example, do not allow them to spread disbelief in the family in the forms of bringing haram food to the table, watching inappropriate satellite programmes, listening to haram music, etc.
It is because every sensory input that we have, be it visual, auditory, olfactory, etc. will affect our soul. It is not possible to act any way that we want and expect to have a healthy and unaffected soul.
When parents give in to their children's inappropriate demands in order to appease them, they are actually becoming their slaves. Whatever parents do in an inappropriate time, (like buying a cell phone for their children while they are still immature), turns into a plight for the parents themselves.
