The Month of Rajab and Its Importance

Rajab is one of the four months declared sacred by Allah (Saw) in the Glorious Qur'an.

The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) has said: "Rajab is a great month of Allah (SWT), unmatched by any other month in the respect and significance (accorded to it); war with the infidels during this month is prohibited; Verily, Rajab is Allah's month, Sha'ban my month and Ramadan the month of my Ummah; whosoever fasts a day in the month of Rajab will be granted the great reward of Ridwan (an angel in heaven); the wrath of Allah (SWT) shall be distanced and a door of the Hell shall be closed."

Praise be to the Almighty Allah (SWT) and thanks to Him for granting us yet another opportunity to cleanse ourselves of our sins and oversights. (Rajab Aamal and Dua)

We pray to Allah (SWT) during this blessed month that we are able to supplicate to Him and that our supplications, especially that of the speedy return of our Imam and Master al-Mahdi al-Muntazar (May our souls be sacrificed for the dirt under his feet), are accepted. May Allah (SWT) give us all the strength and will-power to fast this entire month as a prelude to the month of Sha'ban - a month of blessings and mercy including the birth anniversary of the Savior of Humanity on the 15th of the Month, culminating with the Blessed month of Ramadan - the month of peace and tranquility.

Islam orders the Muslim to tell the truth even if it is against the teller's interest. Orders him not to cheat or deceive other people. So pray to your Lord and sacrifice [to Him alone].
Indeed, your enemy is the one cut off.

آنچه را که در آسمان ها و زمین است می داند و آنچه را پنهان می کنید و آشکار می سازید می داند ، و خدا به آنچه در سینه های شماست ( از افکار و اندیشه های مغزی و حالات و صفات روحی ) داناست.

Lailatul Raghaib' - First Thursday of Rajab



The Holy Prophet (s.a) has said, that these prayers are Means of forgiveness and on the first night in our grave, the Almighty will send the reward off this prayer in the best, enlightened and eloquent form. When inquired, will reply, ‘‘My Beloved,, glad tidings to you that you have found salvation from every hardship and horror..’’When asked,, ‘‘Who are you?’’ ‘‘By God I haven't seen any one more beautiful than you,, I haven't heard a word sweeter than yours,, or a fragrance better than you?’’ In reply,,
‘‘I am,, that prayer which you offered on the eve off the first Friday of the month of Rajab. I have come to you,, to be your companion in this loneliness,, to remove from you your fright and horror.. Be lest assured that my shelter will be with you until the blowing off the Horn off the Day off Judgment..’’

هُوَ الَّذِی بَعَثَ فِی الْأُمِّیِّینَ رَسُولًا مِّنْهُمْ یَتْلُو عَلَیْهِمْ آیَاتِهِ وَیُزَکِّیهِمْ وَیُعَلِّمُهُمُ الْکِتَابَ وَالْحِکْمَةَ وَإِن کَانُوا مِن قَبْلُ لَفِی ضَلَالٍ مُّبِینٍ


اوست آن کس که در میان بی‏سوادان فرستاده‏اى از خودشان برانگیخت تا آیات او را بر آنان بخواند و پاکشان گرداند و کتاب و حکمت بدیشان بیاموزد و آنان قطعا پیش از آن در گمراهى آشکارى بودند.

It is He Who has sent amongst the Unlettered a messenger from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom,- although they had been, before, in manifest error

(یُخَادِعُونَ اللَّهَ وَالَّذِینَ آمَنُوا وَمَا یَخْدَعُونَ إِلا أَنْفُسَهُمْ وَمَا یَشْعُرُونَ):

[ ﺑﻪ ﮔﻤﺎﻥ ﺑﺎﻃﻠﺸﺎﻥ ] ﻣﻰ ﺧﻮﺍﻫﻨﺪ ﺧﺪﺍ ﻭ ﺍﻫﻞ ﺍﻳﻤﺎﻥ ﺭﺍ ﻓﺮﻳﺐ ﺩﻫﻨﺪ ، ﺩﺭ ﺣﺎﻟﻰ ﻛﻪ ﺟﺰ ﺧﻮﺩﺷﺎﻥ ﺭﺍ ﻓﺮﻳﺐ ﻧﻤﻰ ﺩﻫﻨﺪ ، ﻭﻟﻰ [ ﺍﻳﻦ ﺣﻘﻴﻘﺖ ﺭﺍ ] ﺩﺭﻙ ﻧﻤﻰ ﻛﻨﻨﺪ .

They (think they) deceive Allah and those who believe and they deceive only themselves and they do not perceive (it).
