عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ‏- رضى الله عنه ‏أن النبي ‏ صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ‏-{ آيَةُ اَلْمُنَافِقِ ثَلَاثٌ: إِذَا حَدَّثَ كَذَبَ، وَإِذَا وَعَدَ أَخْلَفَ، وَإِذَا ائْتُمِنَ خَانَ }

‏1 ‏- صحيح.‏ رواه البخاري (33)‏، ومسلم (59)‏ (107)‏.‏

Abu Hurairah (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There are three signs of a hypocrite: when he speaks, he tells lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he is entrusted, he betrays his trust.” Agreed upon.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "A Muslim, male or female, continues to remain under trial in respect of his life, property and offspring until he faces Allah, the Exalted, with no sin record". [At- Tirmidhi, who categorised it as Hadith Hasan Sahih].
