The Italian Design Day 2026 is taking place in Addis Ababa, marking the 10th edition of this annual event for architects, designers, academics, and entrepreneurs.
Organized by the Italian Institute of Culture in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy, the Italian Trade Agency, and local partners, the program includes masterclasses, workshops, and exhibitions centered on the theme “RE-DESIGN: Regenerating spaces, objects, ideas, relationships.”
The main event will be held on 26 March 2026 at 2:30 PM at Creative Hub Ethiopia (Piazza, former Arada Post Office, near City Hall) and will be opened by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Maria Tripodi. Entry is free.
