The Senior Finance Executive will oversee daily financial and accounting operations, ensure rigorous compliance with tax laws and financial regulations, and prepare accurate monthly financial statements. This role requires an analytical mind capable of performing variance analysis, managing working capital, and leveraging data to optimize cost and business performance.
**Responsibilities*
*Financial Reporting *Accounting
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities within strict timelines.
Prepare accurate balance sheets, profit & loss (P&L) statements, and management discussion and analysis (MD&A) reports.
Maintain the general ledger, fixed asset register, and ensure flawless bank reconciliations.
*Taxation & Regulatory Compliance:*
Manage and ensure timely compliance with regional tax frameworks (such as GST, TDS, and Income Tax).
Prepare and file statutory returns and stay updated on changing financial regulations.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide schedules, balance confirmations, and implement audit recommendations.
*Financial Analysis & Budgeting:*
Conduct in-depth variance analysis (actual performance vs. budgeted targets) to identify operational discrepancies or cost-saving opportunities.
Assist management in preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and cash flow projections.
Monitor aging schedules for accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) to ensure optimal working capital.
Treasury & Cash Management:
Monitor daily cash flow liquidity to meet operational requirements.
Liaise with banks and financial institutions for operational banking needs, fixed deposits, and fund management.
## *Required Technical Skills & Qualifications*
*Education* : Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com/BBA). Post-graduate qualifications like an MBA in Finance, or progress toward professional certifications (CA Inter, CMA, or CPA), are highly preferred.
*Experience* : 3 to 7 years of relevant hands-on accounting and financial analysis experience.
