Balakrishna Temple- Hampi
Balakrishna temple is a famous temple located in Hampi. Built by king Krishnadevaraya in 1513, this temple is a part of the Hampi ruins today. The main deity of the temple was Lord Krishna as an infant (Balakrishna). The original idol of the deity is now on display in the state museum at Chennai.
One of the must see sites of Hampi, the Balakrishna temple, enthrals both the devotees and the tourists alike. The ruins tell the story of the grandeur of Indian Architecture of yore. A major attraction here is the carvings of epics on the temple walls.
The best time to visit Hampi is during the months of October to March when the climate would be pleasant.

Ratneshwar Mahadev- The leaning temple of Banaras.
Known as Matri-rin Mahadev Or Kashi Karvat
Ratneshwar Mahadev Temple has to be one of the most photographed temple in Banaras, located between Manikarnika Ghar and Scindhia Ghat a short distance of Tarkeshwar Mahadev Mandir.
The temple is famous for having a lean of 9 degree, a far more severe deviation from verticle compared to the likes of Leaning Tower of Pisa which currently has 4 degree lean.
Revenue records indicates it was built sometime between 1825 and 1830. During Princep's (master of Banaras mint) times in Banaras, he commented that the temple entrance was often submerged and priest would dive in to the water to conduct worship.
