Lightning fell on 52 gaj flag of Dwarkadhish temple
The incident did not damage the temple, only the walls turned black; The people of Dwarka said - God saved us
Lightning struck the flag pole of the famous #Dwarkadhish temple in Gujarat's #Dwarka on Tuesday. The 52 gaj flag of the temple was damaged due to lightning. However, no damage was done to the Dwarkadhish temple and only the walls of the temple turned black. The incident happened around 2:30 pm on Tuesday.
The flag above the Dwarkadhish temple also has special significance. It is called 52 Gaj Dhwaja. This is the only temple in India, where the flag of 52 gaj is raised 5 times a day. There is so much reverence about this flag among the devotees that sometimes they have to wait for two years to offer the flag. Locals say that this is the first time that lightning has struck any part of the temple.

A wheel from Konark Sun Temple (1250 CE) which is designed in a shape of chariot. This is about 9 feet in diameter, intricately carved and acts as a sundial (see the dots around the rim, they are capable of calculating time upto 3 minutes of accuracy). There are 24 such wheels in the temple. This one has undergone restoration mark and original carvings are only faintly visible. For example, spokes bear different carvings each, they look plain after restoration 😐

These are our True Heroes. 💪
Found an very old idol in saroli kolhapur, in an ruined state.
Didn't just kept watching But acted ,
But got the idol out of it cleaned ,
built a small Temple and placed it with respect.
It was done under guidance of
Such awareness must created among youths who can do work on grassroot level.
Organization should support them with finance's & other things. Than only we can successfully save our old heritage's which are lying in ruined state.

If you are surprised to see the signs of this statue, then look at the feet of this statue, it has been depicted like human nerves as if this statue has been live before becoming a stone.. (Shri Vaikuṇṭhanāthāra Maha Vishnu Temple , Tamil Nadu) #IndianContents
