Shantadurga Kunkallikarin temple, Fatorpa, Goa. This temple used to be in my village, Cuncolim. In the 1580s, Portuguese destroyed the temple. Local Hindus took the Murti away and established a new temple in Fatorpa, then a secluded jungle. The temple is community controlled.

Nandeshwar mandir is located at a distance of 25km from Akola, Maharashtra in Lasur village of Daryapur taluka, Amravati district. This temple seems to be of Hemadpanthi style where rocks of different sizes are stuck in one another such that it holds the entire structure. This temple is त्रिदल meaning that it has three गाभारे (sanctum). सभामंडप(hall) of this temple is open and its termed as स्वर्गमंडप. This unique open roof structure can be seen in very very few places and it becomes one the prime reason to visit here. Anandeshwar temple is standing on 12 pillars. Beautiful and intricate carvings can be seen inside and outside the temple. Though it has less sculptures, the sculptures which are present, are really carved with minute details.

The Sanwalia ji temple of Krishna are situated on the Chittorgarh–Udaipur Highway, at the town of Bhadsora, Mandaphiya and Chapar, about 40 kilometers from Chittorgarh. The deity also known as Shri Sanwaria Seth which is very renowned in Hinduism.

The legend has it that in the year 1840, a milkman named Bholaram Gurjar had a dream of three divine idols buried underground in the Chapar village of Bhadsoda-Bagund; on digging out the site, three beautiful idols of Lord Krishna were discovered as revealed in the dream. One of the statues was taken to Mandaphiya, one to Bhadsoda and the third remained at Chapar, at the very place where it was found. All three locations became temples. These three temples are located close to each other, within the 5 km distance.

Harishchandreshwar Temple.

This temple is marvelous example of the fine art of carving sculptures out of stones that prevailed in ancient India. It is about 16 m high from its base. Around this temple there a few caves & ancient water tanks. The river Mangal Ganga is said to originate from one of the tanks located close to the temple. The top of the temple resembles construction with the north-Indian temples.

A short distance away, another temple called Kashitirtha is located. The fascinating thing about this temple is that it has been carved out from a single huge rock. There are entrances from all four sides. On the main entrance there are sculptures of faces. These are faces of guards of the temple. On the left side of the entrance is a Devsnagsri inscription, which is about saint Changdev.

• Temple is located on Harishchandragad fort in the Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra
