Locally known as Yeduru Basavanna or Nandi, this monolithic bull marks the east end of the Virupaksha Bazaar. The statue is housed in a twin storied pavilion built on an elevated platform. A heap of gigantic boulders behind the pavilion offers an interesting backdrop.

The world's oldest, beautiful and only statue of Punyasalila Maa Narmada is in the temple located in Makarwahini Jabalpur. Cultural carpet shows the craftsmanship of Mother Narmada's landing in this statue. Actually, but in Sanskrit, it is called Capricorn, which is the vehicle of Mother Narmada. That's why it was named Makarwahini. Mother Narmada's appearance is the main subject of this statue. So various gods and goddesses marked in the statue are portrayed as witnesses at the time of descending.
