Xulosa qilib aytganda, siz haqiqatan ham siz uchun nimanidir anglatuvchi narsalarga investitsiya qilishingiz kerak. Miqdordan ko'ra sifatni tanlang.Yuragingizni chinakamiga g'amxo'rlik qiladigan bir nechta narsalarga qo'ying va bu yetarli bo'ladi.

Bizning jamoamiz bir-biriga g'amxo'rlik qiladigan va bir-birini ko'taradigan, bir-birini o'z imkoniyatlaridan tashqari ishlashga va orzu qilishga undaydigan odamlardan iborat. Biz tabiatan bu jamiyatning fazilatlarini saqlab qoladigan odamlarni qabul qilmoqchimiz.

Eshitgan bo'lishingizga qaramay, bu joy ish haqida emas. Muvaffaqiyatli bo'lish uchun siz bo'sh vaqtingizni birinchi o'ringa qo'yishingiz kerak. Shuning uchun, biz siz o'rta maktabda ham ba'zi bo'sh vaqtlarni birinchi o'ringa qo'yganingizni ko'rishni xohlaymiz. #The_match_between_you_and_MIT
Ask any admissions officer at MIT, and they will tell you that while grades and scores are important, itโs really the match between applicant and the Institute that drives our selection process
#Alignment_with_MITโs_mission
Remember that there are many ways to make the world betterโweโre not looking for applicants to have cured all infectious disease in the world by the time theyโre 15.
#Collaborative_and_cooperative_spirit
The core of the MIT spirit is collaboration and cooperation; you can see it all over the Institute.
#Initiative
Opportunities are abundant at MIT, but they must be seized. For those students who take initiativeโwho take advantage of whatโs around themโMITโs resources are unparalleled.
#Hands_on_creativity
MIT is an active, hands-on place. Innovation is risky and messy! In other words, you shouldnโt just enjoy thinking, you should also enjoy doing.

In a nutshell, you should be invested in the things that really mean something to you. Put your heart into a few things that you truly care about and that will be enough.
#The_character_of_the_MIT_community
Our community is comprised of people who take care of each other and lift each other up, who inspire each other to work and dream beyond their potential. Weโre looking to admit people who by nature will sustain the qualities of this community.
#The_ability_to_prioritize_balance
Despite what you may have heard, this place is NOT all about work. To be successful here, you must prioritize some measure of downtime. Therefore, we like to see that youโve prioritized some downtime in high school as well. Our applicationโs essay question (Tell us about something you do simply for the pleasure of it.) is not a trick question. Answer it honestly.

How an outside scholarship works with your MIT Scholarship
Many MIT students receive outside scholarships. They come from a variety of sources: your home state, a local business, VA Benefits, the ROTC program, a National Merit Scholarship, or even a Pell Grant, which does not have its own application process. The intent of these additional funds is that they be applied to your MIT education.

Massachusetts_Technology
MITโs policy to cap financial aid at a studentโs calculated need while allowing outside aid to also reduce the student contribution is embedded in our strong belief that need-based, rather than merit-based aid, is a more equitable way to distribute financial aid dollars. This allows MIT to maximize available funds for the families that need it most.
If your outside aid, which includes the Pell Grant, is greater than your student contribution, we encourage you to contact your financial aid counselor. You may be able to use a portion of your outside scholarships toward the one-time purchase of a computer or to pay for the MIT Student Health Insurance Plan before reducing your MIT Scholarship. You may also want to contact your scholarship organization to see if they can postpone sending the funds for a future academic year that may be more advantageous.
All VA education benefits are treated like outside scholarships, including any housing and book stipends. Any additional money from your VA education benefits, beyond the amount of your student contribution, will reduce your MIT Scholarship.

#Overview_of_funding
At the graduate level, financial aid is largely decentralized, as available funds are managed directly by departments
The annual budget or cost of attendance for graduate students is the total cost of an MIT education - $131,561 per student per year.
PLEASE NOTE
Applicants are considered for awards after they have been accepted into a graduate program. There is no separate application for financial aid prior to admission for any program of study.
MIT provides assistance to graduate students experiencing financial hardships, has established new ranges to stipends and changes to health insurance rates and plan benefits, and offers additional health and well-being support resources.
Hardship funds awarded are tax-reportable income and may reduce eligibility for educational loans. If you want to explore how a fund of this type would impact you, please contact us to discuss your options.
