Part 8 of the Megadlbot from scratch. Well we are now developing more off icing on the cake such as extra functionalities which made Megadlbot special. Today we will look into the query function which megadlbot had – basically a module that allowed users to retrieve the files that were already downloaded with the same URL without having to wait for download/upload process to finish. For this process we are going to use something called as deeplinking.

More about deep linking can be found here:
https://core.telegram.org/bots#deep-linking

Unfortunately yet still no one wanted the GitRepo I guess, well we did not reach our target likes no the subs on either video that was posted, so let’s keep the target as it is, I will post the source of this portion combined with the previous videos on GitHub once either these video’s reaches 100 likes and once at least I get 100 subs, so that you could simply clone the repository and run it from where we had left. Also please comment some feedback on what you would like me to improve on the next video. Keep me motivated to complete this project guy 🥺

Part 9 of our ongoing project Megadlbot from scratch featuring our MD @PhoenixAtom. On today’s video we will attend a huge concern that was raised within our Telegram Public Chat and also we will be introducing Inline Queries for the Files Query module - with the help of a Mongo Query which @PhoenixAtom will explain what it does.

Also, a huge callout to Dheyba Rashah aka Izaya aka @suicide_router, who did the intro you saw at the beginning and which is going to be my intro on any of these coding videos I will upload

Part 10 of our project Megadlbot from scratch. Well I am extremely excited that I had reached 100 Subs, a promise is a promise. I did mention that once I reach 100 subs, I will share the source on a Github repo and a video with instructions on how to deploy it at your environment. That is exactly what I am going to do on this video.

I do understand many of you do also want Heroku deployment instruction – well I have never used Heroku to be honest. I did always prefer a VPS, since I believe that it gives me more functionality, flexibility, and control over the machine. Well you know what - now that I am publishing the source why don’t you make a collab video with me on how to deploy the same on Heroku. I could learn from you as well. Remember I did always say the project is a community project so why not get you all involved with it. If you are interested in doing the collab buzz me at our public telegram chat: https://t.me/megatronstatus

On todays video we are basically going to deal with bugs that were there. Well releasing the source on GitHub was overwhelming and I cannot thank enough the contributions and the support I had got. And a few honorable mentions:

@SpEcHIDe: Listen he is a wizard at what he does and a master, he has got good contents on both his GitHub and YouTube, you should definitely check out:
GitHub: https://github.com/SpEcHiDe
YouTube: https://youtu.be/AGnF9qUrBLY

@PhoenixAtom: our very own MD from Baivaru, the best at what he does.
@W4RR10R: I have known him for quiet a while now and has been helping us a lot on many of the projects we do.

Here is the part 12 of our project Megatron aka Megadlbot from scratch. Shall we say christmas came earlier this year? Two videos in a day!!! For a change I am not hosting this segment. Let me take the pride to introduce our CTO @athfan doing what he does the best. Well I have been a student of him, and it is an honor to have him on my channel and being a part of this project.

In this video he is going to show you how you can implement custom filters and for the purpose of this project we are going to use it as a replacement of the regex filters that we had implemented earlier basically clearing a lot of the messy coding we had done.

Hello, here is part 13 of our ongoing project Megadlbot from scratch. Today we are basically going to introduce the function “screen capture” that we used to have in megadlbot. To achieve this, we will basically make use of ffmpeg. Well trust me it is a messy video. I am very tired after a busy day and I just did not want to let you down and so here I had recorded this video, edited it and I just made sure I went to sleep only after uploading this one.

Welcome to Part 14 of our ongoing project Megadlbot from scratch. In this video we are going to move the Upload files to its own module since we are also integrating other downloading processors. Also, we are going to fix an issue that @Samfun75 has highlighted. And finally, introduction to long awaited Youtube-DL.

Here Part 15 of our ongoing project Megadlbot from scratch. On todays agenda we are introducing a module called Nekofy which will be used by both generic media info extractor and YouTube video media extractors. Also, since most of you have had quiet several questions regarding deploying the project to Heroku here is a demonstration by our incredibly good friend @uaudIth. Udith has been a part of our Megadlbot since the very beginning and we had incorporated a lot of his ideas such as the calculations of durations to take screen shots are by him and there are many more.

It has been a while, I have not forgotten you neither have I got bored of this project, it’s just that I have had extremely busy days. Anyway, here is the part 16 of our ongoing project Megadlbot from scratch. On this video we are going to look at asyncio executor. Basically, asyncio executor is used to run code in OS threads. If some function is blocking and not async by nature, only proper way to run it inside asyncio event loop is to run it inside thread using asyncio executor. In our case Youtube-DL while downloading files.

In this video we do also look into the process of megadlbot used to extract video from YT videos. And a few bug fixes.

Here is the long awaited Docker Guide For Megadlbot, for now its on the dev branch since we are also coming up with a few new but surprise updates/modules that you would love (lets highlight it with the word torrents). When once that is done we will also merge the Dev to master. 🥳 Thank you a lot for the continuous support and love, much appreciated. Also guys do make sure where ever you get to cross @uaudIth to thank him again and again since its his hard input that has brought dockerization for the repo ❤️.

Here is the part 18 of our ongoing project Megadlbot from scratch. Unlike other videos I am going to explain the codebase and workflow for the updates that has been done since I have had a hectic schedule, I was unable to screen capture/record as I did those updates. Here we are basically look into extracting compressed files and introduction to google python api.

Here we are with part 19 of our ongoing project Megadlbot aka Megatron from scratch. Today we are going to do something called as streaming files from telegram servers - without having to download the complete file and writing it to disk. Basically, serving partial contents from a web server. To do this we will also use a slightly modified version of the conventional method for downloading media available on Pyrogram.

As we conclude with our last commit for the project I was just curious to ask what would you want next. We build the whole project together and most of it is covered on YouTube.

Currently the bot does:
1. Downloads/Uploads files from any link which can return proper HTTP headers either with the default filename as returned from the link or with a custom name you give it.
2. Converts/Extract and downloads/uploads either video or audio from youtube links.
3. Extracts media info for files from both YouTube and links that can return proper HTTP headers and return them as a text file or posted to our very loved past service: nekobin.
4. Extract frames/screenshots for files that can return proper HTTP headers.
5. Downloads/uploads torrents as compressed or extracted content of the directory associated for the torrent from either magnet or torrent links.
6. Upload all the files uploaded via the bot to google drive based on user settings.
7. Custom user settings for downloads/uploads such as every uploaded/downloaded media to be forced as a document or video or thumbnailed or otherwise respectively.
8. Provide a direct streaming link for telegram files without having to download them to local for every upload/download that is uploaded via the bot.
9. An inline query function to go through the history of files that were downloaded/uploaded via the bot.
10. Also when a user sends a link that has already been downloaded/uploaded - propose with deeplinks to files that has already been downloaded with the same link.
11. Renaming of files on telegram. Based on user settings for the module - to deal with these files as locally written file on disk or a file like BytesIO object.

My main aim in doing the youtube videos were not to just achieve these modules or complete a huge project but also explain/teach the libraries used behind the picture in completing each module so that you can adapt the same libraries in different projects you do even though they are not just telegram bots. Well it is open source now, docker installation is available, fully compatible with deployments to heroku. All what you had asked for. In my opinion we have almost completed a swiss army knife, after all these work I would love to hear your feedback and comments.

Ps. I will be merging the dev branch which includes all the above mentioned modules once after we are done with a few code styling fixes. Once again thank you a lot for the love and support you have given for the project and I wish to hear some feedback 😊
I have decided to remove YTDL from the master and dev branch of Megadlbot even though the pypi is still online - to avoid any complications that might be on its way due to the recent unfortunate events with YTDL. However there is a branch for YT as well. As long as the pypi is online and available this branch will be available for you to do deployments with YTDL functionalities Megadlbot has.

Its been a while and here I am back with anther project. But this time we are not going to drag this any longer and since its simple we will try fit it a single video.

So, I lately came across a project request where the client required a bot that can create stickers with the text which he sends to the bot. Just like the famous QoutlyBot or whatever that bot is called. Anyway, here on this video I demonstrate how I did the whole thing.

https://youtu.be/dVrA9hit4ks
So, I have lately been introduced to @uCaptchaBot on telegram by @uaudIth basically what it does is when a user joins a group it asks the user to solve a captcha, it is useful to avoid bots, spam, and automated accounts, you know what I mean.

And you know me, I just could not get my head over it without doing something of my own, and here is how I created mine.

I have lately been looking for a simple idea to create a bot mainly to do a video as I usually do and came across this fabulous idea/some what a request. So here is my attempt on giving a solution. Also the thingy doesn’t really fit to the context of a captcha bot, but lets add a few more modules to it and have something hybrid you know.
