Taleqan-2 is a heavily fortified high-explosives testing chamber, suspected to have played an important role during Iran’s covert ‘AMAD’ nuclear weapons program in the early 2000s. It was rapidly expanded before the recent war.
The site was buried with sand by Iranian military engineers shortly before the attacks, attempting to protect the internal structure from severe damage. It seems all 3 holes in the roof have now been fixed.
