If you've fallen behind don't worry. Keep going one verse at a time.

Even if it takes you two months or three months or even more, it's OK.

The main thing is the intention and effort.

Allah will reward you for your efforts abundantly.

Verse 9

Arabic:
قالوا بَلىٰ قَد جاءَنا نَذيرٌ فَكَذَّبنا وَقُلنا ما نَزَّلَ اللَّهُ مِن شَيءٍ إِن أَنتُم إِلّا في ضَلالٍ كَبيرٍ

Transliteration: Qaloo balaa qad jaa anaa nadheerun fakadh-dhabnaa waqulnaa maa nazzalAllahu min shay-in in antum illaa fee dalaalin kabeer

Translation: They will reply, “Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied and said, ‘Allah has revealed nothing. You are extremely astray.’”

وَقالوا لَو كُنّا نَسمَعُ أَو نَعقِلُ ما كُنّا في أَصحابِ السَّعيرِ

Transliteration: Waqaaloo lau kunnaa nasma'u au na'qilu maa kunnaa fee as-haabis-sa'eer

Translation: And they will lament, “If only we had listened and reasoned, we would not be among the residents of the Blaze!”

فَاعتَرَفوا بِذَنبِهِم فَسُحقًا لِأَصحابِ السَّعيرِ

Transliteration: Fa'tarafoo bidhanbihim fasuhqalli-as-haabis-sa'eer

Translation: And so they will confess their sins. So away with the residents of the Blaze!

Verse 11

If you have memorised verses 1-10 please revise them and constantly recite them daily.

Memorising them is half of the effort. The other half is to revise them and solidify them in your memory.

Perhaps get a friend or family member to test you to identify weak areas which you need to fix and then spend extra time on those parts.

You can also recite these verses in your salah to practice them.
